started a character for Enforcement mod,

body work for male character with tee shirt and jeans
poly's: 2470
time: 3 hours

i think the legs are too fat on the right view. lookign good though. id liek to see the see the model that i gave you the ref for think you could uploasd some pics?

you're wasting a lot of polygons, especially on the legs. Usually, an 8 sided cylinder is enough, even pushing it. And try to add some loops to the shoulders, for better deformation.
 
yeah, I've droped the loop count by half on the legs, but I'm keeping it at 12 sides. the shoulders dont need more loops, I've finished the mesh and rigged him, and the deformation is fine in all actions

lookin good. yeah i agree with you on the 12 sides thing. everyone says 8 but it really aint enough.
 
yeah, his legs are 12, and the arms are 8, they just look more boxy, I'm more than prepared to trade 50 polys for a much smoother mesh
