What do you guys think so far? It's obviously unfinished... but I still want to hear some feedback on perhaps what should be included, what sort of things can be improved, etc. BTW, a lot of the textures will be replaced once the full SDK rolls around.

 
Add some light to the area. The whole thing just seems dull to me with the same brightness every where.
 
Aye... lighting isn't nearly done either. I shouldn't have even ran it through VIS and RAD until I'm actually done with the geometry and detail. :p Thanks though.
 
Looks like it could end up pretty good. One quest, I'm working on a map that has a dried up beach as a part of it. well I want the water to go off into the horizon. But whats to keep people from swimming out that far? Hmmm, could I use a brush to do tirgger_waterydeath?
 
You can make the water part of a 3D skybox and it automatically clips them when the skybox starts. Look for a tutorial on 3D skybox, its very cool.

You could put a clip brush right in the middle to prevent them from at least swimming any further. Not sure how to kill them when they do swim far enough, though.
