Wireless Hub

Got a wireless hub, running the net thru it. We moved it into the other room and its further from the computer. Now my signal strenth sucks and I'm starting to lag in games. Anyway I can improve signal strength without moving the whole hub?

do you have any 2.4ghz phones near it or anything that you think might cause interference.

Just how far away is your computer now?
Anything in the way of a wireless signal will degrade it. So if the walls are perticularly thick that will degrade the signal quite a bit.

Also, what brand is it?
I had an Encore router and it's signal sucked just about anywhere.

...depending on the type of material in the walls will deflect how much signal gets through. If you have lead in your walls then you're screwed. try finding a hub or router antenna.
