wireless internet problem - please help ;)

i seem to got the wireless internet to work, but it drops the connection on wireless after 60secs or so. And also i can neither login to the router/modem after that.

how can i resolve this, please help!

do u have a strong connection? anything interfering like microwaves, wireless phones with 2.4ghz band,walls?

go to start, right click my computer.....go to manage
go to services and applications
then services, then go to the bottom and it says wireless zero configuration, stop it.....

Ur router is always looking for hte best connection and turning that off will make it so it stops looking........

Might try this when I get home. I also have a wlan and sometimes teh connection will drop so hopefully this will sort it.

And what brand of wireless router do you have?

I'd try to find a firmware upgrade for it and/or call/email their tech support.

I have an Encore wireless router and the thing sucks complete-ass, always loosing connection to it and whatnot. I'm waiting for Linksys to release a 100+ mbit router.
