I swear, I can't get HL2 to download to 100%. It gets to anywhere frmo 50-70%, decides that that is enough, and then ungreys itself. I can double-click on it, and the crazy Valve faucet-eye logo guy comes up, the low bassy sound plays, it goes to the blurry cityscape thing and it says "loading" - then it IMMEDIATELY freezes. I looked at the properties of the HL2 game in the Steam Games browser and it CLEARLY states that it needs more data, "requires update." How the heck can I tell it to acuire the missing data? This is infuriating - I have been working with this for about 5 hrs and have looked at a ton of BBS threads, and I must say, this is the best site I have come to so far. What the hell is wrong with Steam?
