Work sucks...

When I did work placement it was at a big office in the internal tech support dept. the business imported film. it was the most boring time of my life. the only kind of problems I solved was 1) rebooting a pc to make it work, and 2) replacing some crappy wiring. the rest of the time, i pretty much just sat there. it was just after the blaster worm though.. and that meant... yes! updating ghost images! watching progress bars has never been more boring- at least they usually represent a game installing, well, not then they didn't, not then.

The worst thing about work for me is the lack of things to do when it's a slow day. It just makes it seem to drag on by... I'd like for my usual stuff to not end until the day is over... but then again, I wouldn't like to be swamped with a workload either... That's not fun and causes stress.

just got back from work experience. man it is boring. the first 2 hours were allright as we were putting the new batch of clothing in the store room, and we were piling all these boxes onto skateboards and whoooshing them through the store to the back.

Then it was OK, as there were loads of customers and i was given loads of jobs to do (such as exchange £40 for pound coins at the bank down the road... the manager asked me over the other employees... guess im just better than them ).

Last couple of hours were the wost... about 2 people came up to the second floor thati was working on in 2 hours, and i wasnt allowed to sit down or anything (why cant we have chairs??? WHY??) so you can imagine that my legs really ache now. i was standing perfectly still staring into space for 2 hours straingt :/

2 OUT OF 5 DAYS GONE

THEN I HAVE ONE MORE WEEK OF SCHOOL WHERE WE WILL DO NOTHING

THEN I HAVE 6 WEEKS FREE!!!! WH0000000000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SUMMER HOLIDAAAAAAYS RULE!!!

That doesn't sound too bad, when I tear tickets at the movie theater I have to stand there all night(6 hours) and if it is busy I don't talk to anyone except people who come to me to complain and call down a manager.

cant you sit on the steps or something after the movie has started? all the people down my local odeon do that. they are so lazy
