I found a working HL2 countdown clock on the web.

anyway, the format is Weeks : Days : Hours : Minutes : Seconds

And yep, you need Winrar.

erm anyone know if your system clock has to work? cause my cmos battery is effed up, so it always thinks its august 12 2002. I hope its independant.

I think it runs off Windows's time using javascript. Anyway... this is pretty cool but I probably wont use it until its really close to release... like the night before or something

The good thing about this unlike other countdowns like the doom one, is that when it hits 0 ill actually be able to play the game. All other count downs for games it will hit zero, but oh wait i still have to wait 12 hours for the game shop to be open.

ah, yes, i went there before and browsed by the images and did not see a halflife2 one. though the first skin pack includes it and many other games.

I use this program called "WallRandom." You put all of your pictures in a folder and run the app and it changes your background every minute. Well i was wondering if there are count down timers that are gifs or maybe jepgs? Because when i save files at the html one, they won't display randomly and i get an error, because they have to be JPEG, GIF, or BMP.

I have a count-down that works just find and it looks good. It's minimized to fit my wallpaper that I have. It's basically my normal wallpaper with the little box counter on the top center. I think it's right. It says about 28 days, 1 hour, 18 mins... I'm central...Is that right?
