...namely you get access to everything going into clearance before customers do. I just picked up a USB2.0 Western Digital hard drive for $70. 80 gigs for $70, good buy. Now I'm putting all my music on it as well as other crap that's been cluttering my two main HDs.

Steal a Cell Processor from a PS3 and put it into your Ipod.

"HAI GUYS IM PLAYIN HL2 ON MAH EYEPOD"

WD My Book Essential Edition External 500GB Hard Drive
USB 2.0, 7,200 RPM, 16MB
WD - WDG1U5000N
$194.99

Now... that is a good deal.

I would say that 70$ for 80gigs is a bad deal from what I have seen/bought

Absolutely. I just went and stocked up on cheap booze cos the box was damaged. :D

80 gigs for $70?

I know it's USB (thus, I assume external), but I have a 250gb external that I got for $120ish

Here it is here actually:

I got it on sale though, and that is Canadian funds.

And yes, yours is Western Digital..but still!

Anyways....I work in a grocery store, but we had a tax free sale for only the employees so I was able to pickup a few Christmas gifts tax free (no not food, real gifts)

I was expecting a sex story and instead hear about a USB HDD

DAMN YOU MICCY

80 gigs for $70 is horrible...

I just picked up a 120 gig for 60 bucks at Best Buy. o_O I don't even consider that a great deal...

agreed, i got 250 gig harddrive for 95 bucks just by walking into future shop at the right time.

Duh 70$ is for 80GB is awesome assuming he got the new WD passports which are small and dont need any external power source.
They are not the same with the ones most of you got, which are just normal HDDs in cases :p

Of course I could get an internal drive for about $.50 a gigabyte. This is an external drive. Fits in one of my laptop bag's compartment (it's tiny, about .5" h x 6" l x 3" w), and as someone else mentioned, I don't need a power adapter.

Ah, ok - that's kinda cool. Thinking about it now I'm pretty sure I've seen something like that before, does it have two USB connectors to make sure the unit has enough power?

Nope, just one. I've got all my music on it now ^_^

There's an AC port in case I need to use it with a computer that doesn't have powered USB ports. This little baby has it all.

I used to get 50% off all shoes in my store, but I dont work there anymore 'd

I know what you mean...

I just bought a $900 camcorder for $190 bucks the other day... whoohooo
