Installed WiC a couple of weeks ago, got bored by the campaign real quick (not the game's fault; I just suck at finishing games) and tonight I finally tried out the skirmish mode. Just played against easy AI to get to know the mechanics but toying around with that was hella fun to be honest. This game is probably even better online. Does anyone play this? I could use with some build orders and stuff like that.

I have this game, it's one of the few I actually bought and I have the exact system requirements (literally exact, same card and all) for it and it still runs like shit on the lowest. Pisses me off.

I played it at a friends house one time and it was awesome that's why I bought it.

Fun game, always meant to buy it.
Had a blast with the demo.

Used to be the same with me, but I had an upgrade recently. That's why I reinstalled it. I also suppose the game has been optimized a lot since release, considering Massive Games is still patching it. And it looks quite good. Effects and the surroundings are top notch, but the units could have done with a little more detail imo.

I don't have it with me, but I love the game. I wanted to play online, but I didn't know anyone who owned it. Now that I think about it, I should have just roped me bother into a lan.

I'll be able to play it again in December...

Best RTS I've played. Go through the campaign, it has some great moments.

Problem with the campaign is that you can win every mission with just heavy tanks, a bit bullshit

What about New York? :p

And there are a few other missions where you can't get heavy tanks or you can only get them by completing additional objectives and so them in very small numbers and have to rely on your other units. The campagin is indeed win with a pretty good story and some really great moments.

MP is awesome and I do play when I can (though I can't at the moment, as my gaming PC needs a new mother board.). One thing I will say is that if you don't want to look like a total noob, don't go support and call in nothing but heavy arty.

I have tried to get into this game many times, but keep failing miserably. I just get bored with the campaign, but i have yet to try out MP. I'll give it a shot.

I own this game too, good graphics(though I play on low) and everything is nicely animated.

I've often tried to get into it, but it was pretty hard. Could anyone recommend me a strategy guide?
