....would pwn if it was real. What does everyone else think? I just thought, if Blizzard crossed warcraft with a mmorpg, why not do the same with starcraft.

But seriously, a StarCraft MMO would be so god damn awesome I'd shit myself and cry. Imagine running through the trenches of the opening video for Brood War while zerglings and hydralisks scour the battlefield, a giant battlecruiser hovering overhead, and the sound of explosions and gunfire erupting all around you.

But if WoW is any indication, some serious work would need to go into the PVP aspect of things in order to make it work well. And by work well I mean so awesome that when it kicks me in the groin I cough up my testicles.

As like as Starcraft 2 comes out first, im happy.
Plus why would you make Competeing MMORPG's?

Anyway, it would PWN. Many famous plants, walk across the lands where famous battles lied, where Duke's ship fell, where Fenix's Dragoon + Zealot body lie.
Be a Dark Templar and use your powers to infilitrate the enemy. Dark Templars Raids, where you raid zerg bases with just Dark Templars

Here, MMORPGs are free. No monthly charge for the most part.

Just a tiny bit of in-game advertising (like buildings having the Coca-Cola logo on them) and 'cash items'.

If it was like that, I would DL it right away.

An MMORPG would rock. I remember there was some free online 2d MMORTS game that was meant for clans to compete. If I...or anyone can find this we could start up an HL2.net part and control our only part of that world....and eventually the entire world itself! har har!
