Anyone else here interested in this game? Personally I've played in the Warcraft Universe long before this, I still have fond memories of my Orcish Wolfriders, who mysteriousley vanished in Warcraft II. Lothar and Blackfist's forces clashing in magnificient graphics (at the time for an RTS). All games Blizzard makes are gaming masterpieces unto themselves, except Diablo, that's just addictive. So what do you guy's think of Blizzards forray into the Massicely Multiplayer Market?

Oh yeah my sig says it all, if you've were at blue's news yesterday (12/8/03) you'd know that Black Isle is no more and their announced Fallout 3 project is gone... I waited for that game since the end of Fallout 2, I was a part of its cult fanbase, I waited and waited for news of Fallout 3. It finally came less than five months ago and now my dreams have been shattered... I'm gonna go cry.

Updated my Avatar to his Christmas picture (took 2 minutes to spraypaint that on)

I'm not really all that interested in it... I'll look into it once it's released... I'm still waiting for one of those online games to convince me paying monthly is actually worth it...

Eh, rpgs aren't really my things, though I do play d2 and d1 now. But htats because I'm on 56k. I love RTS games a lot, especially to play with friends(not a huge bnet fan), but I suck at em. A friend is getting me the whole C&C series cept generals(and including renegade) for christmas so I'm lookin forward to that. Ah, good times.

WoW is the ONLY game I'll consider paying monthly for. I played the FFXI beta, it was cool, but from what I've seen of WoW, FFXI is no where near as fast paced/engaging as WoW.

I can't wait for WoW, hopefully I'll get into the beta, I'd absolutely love to beta test WoW.. looks like so much fun (I'm a huge Blizzard fan like fizzle, have all their games except the Diablo series)

I can't see any media on wow with my 56k =\ or anything for that matter. Is it gonna be a traditional mmorpg game thing? I'm guessing its just gonna be hunt creeps forever which doesn't sound very great. I mean obviously with quests, but I don't expect much cool stuff like wars between the races. Am I wrong?

I'm not really sure, I haven't read up on WoW lately, all I've done is read the history of the races and about each class. It seems to be the typical MMORPG, though. PvP, PKing, monster hunting, quests, etc. The one thing that really appeals to me is, well, it's WarCraft, what else could you ask for in an MMORPG? :)

eh, some other stuff? I love warcraft too, but just taking warcraft and shoving it into an rpg is evil. I'd rather it be something cool like being IN a giant game of warcraft III. And they could have full scale battles and crap (Like what SWG promised but apparently is still a giant bug right now). It'd be cool to see night elves taking on orcs and whatnot. and you could jump in and start killing stuff, it would rawk. especially I think in a third/first person shooter/diablo style, where its not like "target your enemy" blah blah blah, more like jump in and start hacking away. It would rule. Battles could rock, with like tons of NPCs fighting each other and whatnot. And of course give incentive to join by adding good experience gain from helping out, but leaving people open to being PKed by the enemy.

eh, I'm full of imagination, might as well stop rambling.

Just my point is fighting creeps in a warcraft mmorpg wouldn't do it justice.

I can't wait, but it's taking so damn long.

It's Blizzard at the helm, so I'm not surprised. They're used to delaying games up the wazoo until we can take no more. And then release it and blow everyone away in its perfection and splendour.
