World's Youngest Terrorist

Some 11 year old kid working as a terrorist.

Charged with carrying explosives, he is suspected of being a potential suicide bomber and is Afghanistan’s youngest prisoner.

He is now behind bars in one the country’s most secure jails. He had just washed and he was crouching on the floor, having trouble closing the bag he’d crammed his toiletries into.

He could scarcely pull the zip. Yet Abdullah could strip, load and fire a Kalashnikov rifle

But when I asked him what he wanted to do when he grew up, he said: “When I’m older I’ll kill non-Muslims. If I don’t, they’ll come to our homes and kill us.”

Killing terrorists is not saying lets kill all non Christians.
He's implying killing all non Muslims in the name Alah (peace be upon him.)

To tell you the truth, I'm not surprised - some of these religious & tribal extremists treat children so horrifically and brainwash them; just look at the child soldiers in Africa (soldiers will go and kill the child's parents, beat them, then turn them into little killing machines).

I'm talking about the irrational fear that these people are going to come to where you live and kill you. And their belief that going abroad and causing death and devastation will somehow protect them.

It's naive in the sense that these radical Muslims think killing people abroad will somehow stop the foreigners from coming in and raping their civilians due to the violence that they caused.

And it's naive in the belief that going to foreign countries that weren't directly involved in the cause of your civilian deaths and blowing the shit out of their country and killing many civilians in the process is somehow going to quell the danger.

The Bush Administration tried to push that very same fear on the American people, that if we blow up the Iraqis (because they have WMDs of course!), they can't hurt us.

In this sense, Americans were just as naive right after 9/11.

Right, but we don't raise our kids with that credo, much less indoctrinate them to kill those who aren't of their religion.

And you don't have to teach kids to kill for them to be destructive to society with their bigoted hate.

Exactly; just because a child is raised in a religious family doesn't mean they have to be raised to haate those that don't believe the same way they do.
In America, we may not indocrinate our children with the same level of hate that happens overseas, but there are still some parents that raise their children to hate somebody, whether it be black people, gays, or brown people that worship Allah ("the terrorists"), etc.
