Hi. I am suffering a very funny phenomenon lately:
when i look to the sky at a bright day i can see worms like figures as if its sits on my eye reticulum. there are allot of them.. its pretty scary and before i will go to a doctor about it - i wana know if its a well known issue? (i heard it is) so any ideas?

No idea what that could be, though it sounds like something a doctor would recognize straight away. But once i got knocked really hard and when i tried to focus on something some areas would be all blurry. People said it had to do with bits of my eye breaking off due to the knock and floating/blocking some of the light getting through my pupil.

Yes, everybody has those. At first they are very annoying, but you get used to them.

Worm-like or tree-like?

Tree-like is an impression of your retinal blood vessles on your visual perception, which isn't too unusual.. though I'd worry if it happens continually.

Worm-like, I'd just check with a reliable eye authority... to be sure...

I see the "worms" when I walk outside after being inside all day. They usually clear up, though.

I sometimes see the tree patterns at night when looking from a bright light into the night sky...

I don't remember ever seeing any worm like things on my vision, but I used to see a lot of 'floaters' (transparent circular things floating around). At first I was real worried about them, but they're normal (I hope!). I used to see them a lot, but now hardly ever

When I run my dog, I usually see a "worm like" impression.. although, I believe it's just the leash leaving a bit of an impression from the corner of my eye, as I look down it's bluish and there for about one second

Only time I ever have this happen though

There is nothing to worry about at all, all it is, is that the sunlight is shining through your white jelly bit of the eye ( been too long since i did biology) and what you are seeing is the little thingys in your eyes moving about. Everyone has them.

it's me.. i'm in your eye!! this place is a mess.. where's the visine?

i know what yur talking about! i get those altho i dont really notice them anymore. Its like they're falling, sorta hard to explain but they slowly drop on my vision.

Ive gotton those too, but what drives me crazy is if I try to look at them, they go flinging off my vision. They kinda seem to slide around based roughly on how im moving my eyes.

my mom gets those too. it's supposed to be like little bitty pieces of your retina (i think...) coming off... which sounds bad... but probably not serious.

I get the worm like things myself, actually, looks alot like the bacteria ATI screensaver...

usually only like, once a week. it's neat. :D

yeah my mom has the same things that dfc05 mentioned. they're called floaters and are indeed little bits of detached retina. but you're likely just seeing little bits of coalesced eye fluid. or maybe even some dust on your cornea?
