Just watched a bit of a movie starring Ben Afflick and Patrick Duffy on sky. The acting was that bad I couldn't watch anymore.

Patrick Duffy just tipped the scale for worst acting but there must be other contenders for worst actor or even actress.

Granted Pitt has been in some awesome movies: Fight Club, Se7en, Oceans 11, etc, but the guy can't act for shit. Whever I watch a Brad Pitt scene in a movie it always feels like the guy is reading off an auto-cue... he has zero range/emotion, which makes all his performances fairly flat... thus he was one of my choices for 'Worse actor'

Pitt is definately not a character actor, but I wouldn't say he is the worst actor, fight club saved him from that.

Keanu Reeves is a dreadful sham of an actor except in films where his characters are as one-dimensional as he is; Much Ado About Nothing and the first Matrix film. Not the other two because I hated almost everything about them and he really ought to be hanged for his involvement.
Matthew Broderick, with the exception of Election. And it rhymes, so it must be true.

Keanu Reeves can only do one expression. "Confused". Which is why the makers of The Matrix were quite clever. They gave him a character that spent the entire movie confused. Hence, it worked.

There are quite a lot of actors that have one facial expression, that're slightly vague and, as such, have stood them in good stead:
Harrison Ford, Bruce Willis, Nicolas Cage. I think there are a few others, but I forget, sadly.
