for me, its painkiller, its boring, its not that great, it was SUPER fun for the first 2 hours, then it felt like p[laying pinball or any uber old arcade game

Well i really dont see whats wrong with painkiller. It is repeative and all you do is kill wave after wave or monsters, but its mindless destructive fun. My worst game would have to be Chaser. The demo was interesting but the actual game was meh...and also very shiny. Put it this way, the lab coat for one of the scientist was like a mirror, except the reflections in that game didnt actual reflect what was in front of it.

I don't know... I love the original Battlefield but Vietnam just didn't fit me. Bf1942 is bigger, more interactions with players, planes are easy to fly, you can play a whole round without diying one time. Each time I respawned in Vietnam, I got killed 30 seconds after that... the weapons are too powerful. But that's just me. Majority loves Vietnam.

Maybe you're right, planes are easier to fly in Vietnam, but I think they are just too fast. B1942's planes are slower so I can easily run a guy over and laught my ass out. But that's my opinion.

- The helicopter controls never seem to "fall into place", it's always either too slow or too sensitive.
- The vehicles are too weak.
- The infantry weapons are too strong against vehicles.
- The weapons were, and still are, very unbalanced.
- Explosions do next to nothing to soldiers.
- Explosion damage detection is buggy at best.
- The maps were either too open or too linear.
- The AI still sucks!

Second worst purchase: Pandora Tomorrow.

I have just discovered a game that is much more fast/fun than the whole 'Battlefield' series: Joint Operations Typhoon Rising. It is simply the most fun game I have ever played, supports up to 160 people (and I don't have an issue with lag at all) helicopters, chinooks, boats, trucks, tanks, hovercraft etc.. Google for the demo.
