Worst Games/most Important Games

...f*ck it. I'm leaving this thread. You've turned a molehill into Mount Everest :|

Yes, after all, it's my fault. I'm supposed to enjoy it when everyone gangs up on me for no good reason.

I am the victim here. I just make people feel like the victim because I am the wrong person you want to attack. Well, thats not my fault.

No. You've taken every point made as a personal attack. That, my dear fellow, is your fault.

Um no. Is this a point?
you act like a twelve year old.
I don't degrade into childish "lol gay fgt pokemon stfu" diatribes.

QFT, I do think he's acting a bit immature in this thread tbh.

Still, nobody has attacked you to such a degree as to warrant such responses.
Are you blind? You could be an umpire. This is just on the last page dude, I'm not even going to bother.

No, I feel like I have corrected everyones 'points' because they were wrong.(which often had insults attatched to them)

I thought you said you were leaving this thread.

Very well, my dick is big enough for all of you to suck.

<3 Type2

I read the first post. That was pretty much enough to establish who is being the immature one in this thread.

What did I say exactly? I don't think you did read the first post, because all I did was post an informative topic about "the worst games of all time/ the most important games of all time" I don't think maturity had anything to do with it.

Aren't you banned? I'm glad you are back. I really missed you when you were gone, back when we were friends - I thought. I appreciate you joining the thread to add your useful input!

Are you in a bad mood or something?

LOL I LIKE GAMES YOU DON'T LIKE SO YOU AREN't POSTING RIGHT.

Oh, and yeah, I am banned, which is why I'm posting right now.

I never claimed to be mature.

Well, I don't think I've ever been so insulted on-line before. I'll still do my best to look past everyone else's faults as I've always done, because I am morally superior I guess.

Holy shit. I was just saying, "if you think Doom 3 is bad, check out this game! OMG point and laugh at these horrible games." Thats all! You guys ****ing suck.

I don't think you quite realise how condescending you actually are.

I've just read this entire thread. VirusType2 - no-one is ganging up on you. If people disagree with your assertions, that doesn't make them wrong. For you to spit the dummy in the way that you did and then to blame everyone else for you doing it is just...bizarre.

Are you kidding me? And to think, I stuck up for you when everyone was bashing you, and you put it in your signature for 8 months. Nobody likes you anymore, now that I don't. I see how you are. I stick up for you, you gang up on me. What a pal.

Calling me immature? Here, read this thread "the Steven"
http://www.halflife2.net/forums/showthread.php?t=109438&page=2

You stay out of it.

I act immature but you're supposed to be thirty-one. It's just a bit suprising.

Wait...

you didnt realize people would argue with you when you presume to tell everyone as a fact what is or isnt a good game?

The original post was just flame bait, read it over and you will see why you suddenly got on everyones nerve.

EDIT: Oh, and arnt topics like this supposed to be closed when they turn into flame wars? Just putting it out there... please dont beat me up ;)

I think we should close this thread as no good is going to come out of it?

*cough*

So is noone else disturbed that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater came in ahead of Half-Life of that 50 most important games list?

Yes you do Absinthe. Really rich of you to call me childish. Not only are you the poster child for the type of activity you call me out for, you are name calling by even calling me childish, for the love of god.

Think of me what you wish, but I don't go off on mean-spirited and absurdly immature tangents like your "go play your gay Pokemon" one.

People contested your assertion that PC gaming would be in some kind of jeapardy without Doom 3, and you flew off the handle. It's clear that any bad vibes originated from your location.

THATS WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING THE WHOLE ****ING TIME! BUT IT'S NOT FINE. yOU GUYS WONT ACCEPT THAT I LIKE IT.

No, we've been arguing against your declared importance of Doom 3. There is a difference.

For example, I like KOTOR. It has good gameplay, an involving story, and oozes of quality. For whatever reason, I like it. You can't argue that I don't or shouldn't like something.
But if I were to say KOTOR revolutionized RPG games or somehow played a role of rejuvinating significance, then we'd have something to argue about.

Congratulations on that wildly misleading and insubstantial bit of research.

1.) We were discussing Doom 3, not the original Doom.

2.) The words entered in your Google search are disconnected. For instance, on the first entry for "Doom 3 revolutionary", the "3" belongs to the words "March 3" as opposed to "Doom 3". Oh snap. That's what broad word association gets you.

3.) The words "Prey" and "Doom" exist outside of the gaming scene. See previous point about broad word associations.

4.) Simply punching the words "innovative" or "revolutionary" into a search engine does not make a game so. It's very easy for such a search to turn up "Doom 3 is not revolutionary." See previous point about broad word associations.

The rest of your post is fairly irrelevant to what was being discussed, but oh well. And I'm not really in the mood for this "turned on me" e-drama.

GameSpy has no idea what crap they're talking out of their ass half the time. I wouldn't posit much value in their opinions.

"lol tony hawk is more important than halflife"

"lol donkey kong country was overrated!"

"lol halo 2 GOTY!"

The 50 most important games article was on 1UP, linked by Virus in the first post. The one I just linked is entirely different, and a pretty amusing read (especially since I wasn't aware of most of that already).
