Worst Movie you've ever seen

28 Days Later was great and original. There was absolutely nothing wrong or cliched about the military quarter of the movie. I have no idea what the hell your talking about.
i just personally thought the 2nd half wasnt anyone near as good as the start, it began with a wonderful premise of a few lone survivors trying to survive in a harsh environment against overwhelming odds, up to this point the film was brutal, hypnotic and completely gripping then it becomes a battle against a dozen or so psychotic soldiers, a crazed commander with a new vision for humanity supported by his nimrod horny soldiers, the jim with all his training as a delivery boy comes to save the day by turning into a cold blooder killer overnight slaughtering trained(lets presume they are) soldiers, it coulda worked if they had of expanded the military part and given it some more weight but the twist was just dumb and after that it was kinda predictable.

its like they ran out of ideas half way and came up with this b-movie military ending. just my opinion of course, if people liked the military bit thats fine, i didnt but still like the film and have watched it a few times.

Starship Troopers 2
Malibu's Most Wanted
Scary Movie 2 + 3
Alone in the Dark
Alien : Resurrection
2 Fast 2 Furious
Jason X
Wes Craven's New Nightmare
Ghosts of Mars(kick ass soundtrack though.)
Ali G
Dumb and Dumberer
Resident Evil

Alien vs. Predator was pretty horrible...

I thought The Punisher was ok...pretty cool film.

Worst films...

Pearl Harbour...I saw the ads, full of action so I went to see it and I had to sit through 3 hours of crappy, romantic bulls**t

Artificial Intelligence...I walked out of that film thinking..."What the F**k"

Its an indie film, the whole second half is supposed to be symbolism. The soldiers represent a crazed society, driven only by pleasure. These people were once protecting people...now they're killing anything that moves and looking for anything to rape. I think it shows how easy a society is seduced into chaos or how we're being seduced into chaos each day. And then Jim goes crazy with rage. What's the whole point of the movie been? Rage. The rage the infected have had and felt. Now it was like combining their rage inside of him. And looking at it through symbolism, Jim is the one sick of society and its society that make him go mad. Think "Falling Down" with Michael Douglas only...much more crazier.

But who knows, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe they really did run out of ideas. That's how I see the 2nd half though.

Starship Troopers 2- I swear I have never seen a movie that really really made me want to turn it off and succeed! I stopped 30 mins through cause everything was so bad about it. It made no sense, it was all just war and no comedic value or great paradies of propoganda. Even the setting pissed me off.

Elephant- This movie almost had the same effect as Starship Troopers 2 except I didnt stop. It was so bad it made me cringe in bed as I was watching it. I just wanted SOMETHING-ANYTHING EVEN DIALOGUE OR A BOMB OR A ****ING PLANE CRASH to just ****ing happen. But no-all that happened was a guy walking down an isle for 10 minutes. I really sat through it just to see the shootout but even that was ****ing terrible.

Kingdom Of Heaven- I wont even explain this one.

There was a movie called Buddy about a monkey and his father/friend/brother that played baseball together. It put two of the best things in the world (monkeys and baseball) to complete shame. Anyone here seen it?

Thought of another one. James Bond: Die Another Day. That film oozed suckage, right down from Madonna's title tune to the totally WTF plot and locales extracted from someone's arse.
Yeah I heard summat aboot DNA changes and invisible cars and dragons that bake magic cakes that solve murder mysteries or something?
Why aren't people BANGING DOWN MY DOOR to write fillums!? I ask you...

I saw one called Ed, and it had a chimp and Matt le Blanc from it (Joey from friends to those who cant remeber) and it was fricking shite.

DeusExMachinia i think you were looking into the film too much, i think 28 days later is just a budget british horror which wasn't that captivating. Falling down on the other hand is an excellent film, very well written and Michael Douglas does that role justice.

On a side note did anyone else love Jurassic park 1 + 2 but think 3 was pretty empty, i mean the ending was just...nothing.

Theres so many bad movies I cant really name just one, I'd have to really think about it.
Heres a list that I find I agree with:
http://us.imdb.com/chart/bottom
The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies!!? (1964)
Never heard of it, but Goddamn it sounds kick ass to me.

Oooohhh! It was called Ed - I don't know what I was thinking. When I said Buddy, I was thinking of Air Bud, another (but much better) sports-playing animal movie.

They were going to have a massive TREX (or other large dino) fight as the ending, but they ran out of money so the director substituted in some crap about the army coming and picking everyone up, hence the feeling that the ending was rushed.

Ooooh, I didn't know that! That would'
ve been damn cool, but it still wouldn't have saved the rest of the film.

I thought Predator 2 was actually pretty good. Nothing to take seriously but better then the first.

Jurassic Park 3 is pretty good .... and better than JP2: Lost World !!!

No, no, no, a thousand times no.

yeah i see your point and i've read similiar things along these lines, i liked the way they looked at how the survivors behave in a world where society is breaking down, and the human psyche -- especially for the infected zombies -- regresses to a primal, violent state but i dunno, maybe i just thought it coulda been done better and i didnt really take it that seriously. i think people go too far when they compare it with stuff like lord of the flies(talking generally here) etc, its good but not that good. i got the whole liberal activists against military establishment message too.

i woulda liked maybe a more downbeat ending too particurly since its a indie movie as you say but it was good popcorn entertainment and i did enjoy it, i loved it up to the part where a certain father figure is killed. ;), definately not the worst like some people say.

woot 2000 posts. :dork:

Best action fights maybe, but the script was flawed as I'll get out.
Lame girl kills the only dinosaur of all three movies with her gymnastics? That deserves a 'no!'
Also, everyone on the boat dying from t-rex bites = WTF!
Ditching the kickass overgrown techno-island three-quarters in = WTF!
Hunters being portrayed as the bad guys when they are the only cool people in the movie (other than goldblum) = WTF.

I'd actually go so far as to say #1 & 3 were tied in quality, but in retrospect they're all just big effects sequences. I just <3 them dinosaurs though.

And I'm qualified to say that too. As a kid, I bought every single action figure for the first two movies, 1/3 the dinosaurs, and I've read both books upwards of a half dozen times, each. I was INSANE.
(The books kick the movies in the ASS, btw.)

Anywho, more on topic:

Everyone's picking movies from the last ten years as their worst, which is a bit weird. If 28 Days Later is the worst movie you've ever seen, watch more movies! :p
I'd go with Manos: The Hands Of Fate, if it weren't hi-lariously MST3K'd.

The Green Slime is pretty crappy as well, because the main character hero is a total ass.
It does deserve a remake though, although not the toungue-in-cheek, old=lol Ben Stiller kind. Done right, it could be the new Alien.
Plus, you gotta dig the psychodelic theme song.

I loved dinosaurs as a kid as well. I had almost all the original JP toys (I'm so motherf*cking cool) and a bunch of the second ones. And I still get the urge to get 'em out and play with them. I'm 20. I deserve to be shot.
Aaaanyway. The books were superb, the first film wass excellent, The Lost World was a garbled mishmash of its literary namesake and the third one consisted of the bits left over. It's the cinematic equivalent of trying to fashion a child from the afterbirth.

Yeah, I'd definitly put JP3 as the worst of them, even if just from a cinematic point of view. I see potential in it, but it ended up seeming like some weird little offshoot of the originals that was pasted together from all the stuff they didn't include in the first two movies.

Scary Movie 2
Romeo & Juliet - Leonardo Di Caprio version
2 Fast 2 Furious
Torque
Shaun Of The Dead
Jurassic Park 2
Jurassic Park 3

Romeo and Juliet? Really? That was fantastic! Baz Luhrman did a fine job there. Much better than the sappy Zeferelli (sp?) version from yeeears ago.

And as for bad-mouthing Shaun of the Dead... Well, shame on you sir. The Thought Police will be coming for you shortly.

3 did have problems, but the same could be said for all three movies.
It had comparatively less than 1&2 though.

Like in 1, the car gets pushed through the fence-hole the t-rex came through... and then falls five stories off a cliff? How did the rex get up?

Also, the military ending might've been a cop-out if the ending of #1 hadn't been even more so.
"Oh no! We will be dead via raptors!"
*Deus-Ex Machina T-rex busts down wall*
"Saved!"
At least the end of JP3 was the result of the hero's actions. Getting the phone and whatnot.

I once saw a movie called: Windigo

and it was the biggest piece of bullsh*t crap i've ever seen in my life

a mostly unheard of film called the saint francisville experiment. an absolutley god awful rip off of the blair witch project set in a haunted house with all stereotypical unlikeable characters...i honestly laughed at its shitness

I'd go with 'Manos: The Hands of Fate' too, but I'm sure there are worse out there.

'Threshold' was pretty craptastic also.

I've watched some lame movies in my time, but the last one I seem to remember properly is Dreamcatcher.

I personnaly thought the first quarter of the movie was pretty good until they started showing the aliens. Eugh.

Resident Evil : apocalypse. Without the girls, there are nothing worth watching :|
