Worst Nightmare?

but honestly, have you asked anyone to interpret it for you?

No, I have no idea who to speak with..

Well, since the topic has switched to wierd dreams, I got a good one.

I had recently seen The Ring, and that influenced the dream I will tell.

Ok, so I am in a room, alone, with the dead chick from The Ring, she whispers 7 days, then the Benny Hill music cuts in and she runs around the room in fast motion. The song ends and at the exact moment it ends (the Benny Hill music) Worf (or whatever his name is) from Star Trek the next generation comes in and asks me where I want to go. I kid you not my friends that I did have this dream, I was just as stunned when I awoke.

If its weird dreams now then most of the dreams i have had have came true, In one i saw a friend get hit by a car then i woke up, about 3 weeks later im there talking to my friend and he gets hit, fortunatley he was alright but more have happened, dead cats in trees, knives in fruit.

It these continue, apprently i will be executed in 2012 when the 3rd world war is in full swing, UK and US are no longer allied, in fact were are at war, everyone else is just pitching in, im executed by a weapon i haven't saw before by a guy named Phil Jameson. It happens when our squard of 12 were attacking a stronghold in Southern America when we were ambushed, my CO gets taken out by this sorta handheld MLRS, the blast catches 4 others who get completely decimated, the rest of us get taken, one guy from my team tries to take on one of the enemy but gets taken out, the rest of us get executed because of it.

Another weird one is rabid dogs that can eat through walls, the joy of having those images of my family being ripped to pieces by rabid dogs when i was 3.

A word of advice: try to keep it underground a bit. You would be surprised at how quickly they'll put you psych ward over a stupid reason like that. Trust me, one time I said I wished I would disappear and be wiped from everyone's minds (which would be impossible, so it's not like I could do anything about it). That and a bit of depression landed me there for a week, and the more I fought for my dignity the worse it got. Find someone you trust to talk to, because I know from experience that there are plenty of doctors who would lock you up over the slightest reason. And no matter what you dream or think of, it isn't wrong unless you would do it in real life. If I were you I wouldn't worry about it.

I was the cop from Resevoir Dogs and Micheal Madsen was cutting my ear off.

Ummm.....heh....I'm sorry but that made me laugh for some reason :p . So did he talk to your ear after he cut it off or what?

Anyway, for me, I hardly have nightmares anymore. Well, I have them but not the stereotypical ones. Ever since I started college a year ago all my nightmares now involve me having a term paper/project due and I haven't started it yet. Sometimes my professor will be on a big podium like a judge or something, with a robe on. Its real dark and the atmosphere is gloomy. Then the "judge" lays out the charges against me, mainly that I haven't finished my assignment. I always wake up relieved.

I used to have a lot worse nightmares when I was younger, for some reason. Like I used to have that "cliff dream" where you fall off the cliff and right before you hit the ground you wake up. And then one time I was watching Wild Discovery before I went to sleep and I had a nightmare about a bear chasing me.

A lot of times I have a dream where my car's brakes don't work as I'm going down my driveway. I wonder if it's a premonition because my car is a piece of shit.

Like many gamers I have a lot of dreams involving shooting or fighting or something. I have noticed a weird phenomenon in my dreams: I can never land a punch on someone. Its like when I throw a punch it goes in slow motion and I miss. So I always end up throwing people around judo style instead of punching them hehe.

/long rambling post

I've had a few weird dreams in my past.

One, I had about four years back. Seventh grade, 12 years old. I show up to school, and all the bullies start to pick on me. So then I turn into Goku from Dragon Ball Z and put everything into slow motion. One guy goes to punch me, but it takes him a full ten seconds to complete the movement, so I step so I'm behind him, and grab his head and flip him over me. Then I turn and fire one of those "laser" attacks from my index finger of my right hand and pierce his heart, killing him in mid-air. Then everyone gangs up on me, so I turn into Gohan, fly up in the air and use that "Kameha-meha" attack and blow them all up. Then I land, turn around, and suddenly my schoolyard is filled with maple saplings, everyone is playing soccer, and I'm me again. So I kick the ball around. Then I'm talking to a girl I like, and she complains about the trees, so then I'm suddenly in a large backhoe-type machine, and I drive it forwards and dig up the biggest tree in the yard. Everyone cheers for me, and I feel great. And I wake up.

This other one I had when I was about nine or ten, in mid-summer. I'm asleep in my bed, when I hear noises in my basement. As I walk down to the main floor of my house, it suddenly changes to daytime. Then I walk to my basement door, and it's winter. I walk down the stairs, and suddenly I get the notion that it's Christmas. When I reach the floor, I see my basement is FILLED with Christmas presents, unwrapped. Weird aliens are putting them in sacks. They look like small Brontosaurus standing on two legs, only they're wearing blue Latex suits and their faces look sort of like ET. I yell for help, and my little brother and my Mom run downstairs, and see the problem. My mom says "Ready boys?" And we morph into three of the Power Rangers. Then we proceed to build a fort of toys, as do the aliens, and we throw toys at each others' forts. As the aliens' fort is knocked down, they are putting new toys on. I say "Hey, that's cheating!", run over, and kick down their fort. Then the aliens start to cry, so I apologise and give them each a toy, so then they smile and fly through the window, which oddly doesn't break. Then I wake up.

And a third one I had only two weeks ago. This one's kind of embarrasing :) I'm walking into a hotel room, where Kate Beckinsale is getting dressed for bed. Her friend, who looks like one of my Asian female friends, tells me to get out, but Kate tells her it's OK. We talk for a minute, then Kate picks up her friend, who shrinks to the size of one of those old 5mm Polly Pocket figures, and is placed in a Polly Pocket case-thing, which is then closed. I close the hotel room's door, and Kate asks me "Want to ****?" I reply, "Hell yeah" and blush, so she takes off her clothes. Then she crawls under the bed and pulls me under. I think to myself, "There's barely enough room for one person to lie down, let alone do anything fun." So I ask her, "What are you doing?" She says "So nobody sees us." And just before we do anything, (and I mean literally milliseconds before we start), I wake up. I was disappointed. Then I laughed a bit. Then I tried to have a lucid dream of the same nature, but no luck

[edit] And just so everyone knows, and not that many will care, I'm leaving for my cottage tomorrow morning. I'll be gone until the 22nd, which will suck since we don't have the Internet or a phone line. But at least I'll be back in time for the new OXM issue :E

OMG best dream ever!

My weirdest dream at age 11:
I was near a happy idyllic foresty place, riding a horse, when I spot a toy parrot on the stump of a felled tree. The parrot is of pretty crappy quality, molded plastic with visible joints. If one were to pick it up, it could likely be transformed into a robot mode or something.

But I didn't get to pick it up, because I was distracted by the face that was peering out through a hole in a nearby tree. It's a koala! In fact, the entire tree is filled with koalas. Climbing about and perring down, totally silent. At least two-dozen of 'em, they practically outnumber the leaves. Creeped out, I run and hide in a hole in the ground, which turns out to be a chamber lined with thick ice. And there's a yeti slumped against the wall, asleep in front of a Beast Wars Optimus Primal original action figure! The one I had always wanted! Grabbing it, I run out of the hole and onto a paved road at night, lined with streetlights. Assuming that the yeti is chasing me, I haul ass as fast as I can, but drop Optimus in the process! Picking him him and collecting the scattered blue-plastic acessories, I realize I wasn't being chased after all. The end!

Interpret that as you will. :D

Havent had many dreams lately, heres a few from when i was younger than like 10:

AT a beach, being chased by someone dressed in a blue platapus costume.

I was in my neighbors garage and a mini shark jumped out the an aquarium and the guy saved me.

These rocks were chasing me down a road, so i whipped out my machine gun and pwned them.

heres a favorite:

I was dreaming I was falling off a cliff, and wake up with a thud on the floor.

I once had a dream that I was running from this deranged man with grungy clothes, and long, black, greasy hair tapering out around his shoulders. The man chased me all throughout the forest behind my home. Although I know the place by heart, in my dream everything slowly shifted, and it became a giant maze of dead trees and razor sharp branches. I remember the man chasing me with this wide, evil grin stuck on his face and this insane look in his big, black eyes. I ran for what seemed like an eternity, and finally broke through the brush and thicket of the forest into my own backyard. The man with the crazy grin was grunting, and chasing after me. I could see the door to my home wide open, and I was tearing across the yard to get inside. The man was running faster than ever, and in between raspy gasps of breath I could hear him laughing this low, guttural laugh that just cut me to the bone with terror. I finally made it to the patio, and was mere feet away from the door when the man pounced and tackled me, pinning me to the concrete on my stomach. I remember feeling sheer terror like I'd never felt before, and have never felt since, as the man put one dirty hand across my mouth, moved his lips next to my ear, and whispered with his repulsive voice "How does it feel when you can't scream?".

I haven't remembered a dream properly for probably atleast half a year now =/ I miss it alot. I had a way of flying in alot of my dreams which is more like floating, I can just kick myself off and away from the ground and it feels so natural that I swear I'd been doing it all my life. More often than not I'm being chased, but sometimes instead of running and being caught against my will I let them catch me, what does that mean to you guys?

I had one especially vivid dream where I was inside Half Life 2 admiring the bump mapping :) I went right up close to the walls to see how detailed it would get, but there were Combine soldiers on the other side of it throwing grenades so I had to move, then I woke up.

That's creepy.

Scariest dream i can remember waaaaasss.......I was little, like 4 or so and i had a reoccurring dream that i was in my own house, playing with my tonka truck and suddenly this lawnmower comes into the house and starts launching tennis-ball stinkbombs at me.

It sounds ridiculous but when you're 4 its scary.
