Btw, Bebop is overrated too. It has a bunch of excellent ingredients, but none of it actually gels. The main story arc is like 6 episodes long, the other episdes are tiresomely formulaic and there is so little chemistry between the cast.

Depends on the person. Perhaps you don't actually enjoy reading reams of text anymore than you enjoy bad dubbing. I personally can't stand shitty american VAs, and frankly the ghibli movies are the sole instances of passable dubs.ComradeBadger said:

Fair enough. I liked it because I felt it actually lacked that vibe, which is pretty rare in all media. In places it allows itself to be pretty goofy, not taking itself too seriously, and the tachikomas have to symbolise that. If you didn't find those little guys endearing, then you sir are a cold hearted meanie ^^. Actually they were kind of the key to enjoy the show for me, and it could have been pretty empty without that light-hearted edge.ComradeBadger said:

I could see why some may not like the animation itself, but the quality of the art in each frame is another matter.
