Dear god no. It would probably be slower... Its a REALLY lousy card. REALLY lousy.

I would say no

And before you start buying new video cards, i suggest you get a new mobo

i would but, i'd have to get a new processor, RAM, video card, case, AND CD drives if i just wanted to upgrade, the mobo

exactly.....save your money and buy a new PC

dont waste money on sub-par upgrades that will get you 3 more fps.

like i have $800 lying around to build a new computer, otherwise i would, i'd take me too long to save up that much money, i only got $100 now, that took me 1 month to get, think about another $700. so ur saying stick w/ my GeForce4 MX440-SE 64MB DX7 card, and not upgrade to a GeForce FX5200 128MB DX9 card? or pull $700 out of my ass? right?

first.....dont be a cock ...im only trying to help....

second....Yes that is exactly what im saying. I dont know how old you are...... ill assume your still in high-school

so here we go.

save your 100$ ....dont let it burn a hole in you pocket...you will be much happier if you save it.

Do whatever you have to do to make some scratch ..

get a part time job rake leavees mow lawns ...deliver newspapers.shovel driveways when it snows(i dont know where you live)...there are lots of things you can do......in 2-3 months of hard work you can make that money easily.

Dont get me wrong its your money. But If my advice prevents you from wasting it .... then thats my opinion.

ok, i'm sorry. i can't get a job around here cause all of those damn mexicans (i'm sorry if any mexicans are reading this) took all the jobs. i have a paper route right now, but it doesnt pay alot. i might be able to split it w/ my mom $400/$400 but it's highly unlikely. but if i can't firgure out anything else, i should STILL stay w/ my mx440-se?

Well thats what i would do.

The 5200 pci will be slightly faster and support dx9..... not really worth your money.

it is an improvment. just not much of one.

yes, the 5200 was nvidias bighest fu<k up besides the 5800, and the benchmark cheating. dont get me wrong i love nvidia, i have a 5600, but the 5200 card is a POS. do what crabcakes said, do whatever you can to get some money and build a new fu<king comp. you will want that in the long run.

Yup, you'll have to pretty much build a completely new comp. Sad part is that this is because of one little slot that you don't have.
