have you people really not thought about it at all? consider the number of times you use your arms everyday, and for what.MarcoPolo said:I have a friend whose blind, and is starting to need a hearing aid. Loosing your arms wouldnt be too bad though. A definite ice-breaker at parties

I have seen people like that on TV they are born blind and deaf but somehow they end up managing to communicate. They learn to hear by putting their hand in a certain position on the face of the person they want to hear and when the person talks they feel the muscles moving and determine what is being said. Then they learn how to talk by mimicking those muscle movements with themselves. Very ingenious if you ask me.MarcoPolo said:I have a friend whose blind, and is starting to need a hearing aid. I think this is assuming you can't get prosthetic arms, nor foreheads.Farrowlesparrow said:My first reaction is no, but when I think about it of course it would be worth living. I wouldn't want to die simply because of a handicap like that. Prostetic arms have come a long way I suppose...if you were desperate you could have someone elses arms sewn on...but thats just weird, and people who have that will often feel really bad about it and get rid of them. Its not like haveing a heart transplant.
Anyway, most of the things I really enjoy would be impossible or very difficult without arms, and so I will make sure that I never lose my arms
