umm around 20 but the ping all depends on the server location and you should be able to play all high on that system

Those specs exceed that of my desktop.

I'm guessing you can manage 30-ish ping. I run 70 at lowest, but usually higher.

It was the vid card that was shit. Your new one will be perfectly fine.

As for latency expect good latency but it does depend on your areas connection and the server location/quality.

I find 1.6 hard because you can't tell if you are hitting the person unlike css you see blood and all.

It totally doesn't matter. Sometimes I will shoot people and blood will spatter on a wall, then I will die by a random headshot and find no damage of my own effort has been logged.

OK that's just one rare instance. It's useful other times when your damage does get counted.

Yeah, the huge blood spatters on the wall behind them, plus the death animations, make it really hard to tell.

That laptop can run CS:S, sure.

CS:S...Wtf is up with that game? I mean you shoot people in the head across the map with the AK-47, they shoot you across the map with the AK-47, whilst you are aiming at the head nonstop( I know this becauase I have speced people before), and you die way too quick. Screw this crap, DOD:S is much better. Plus I can be on the German Side

My desktop pwns that thing...but I wish I had that laptop. Mine has that ATI Xpress 200M and it licks nuts. It plays Guild Wars ok though.
