I cant see it. for a company that values their fans, it would be a bit insulting to do it.

They will announce the gold date before Septermber 30th and the game will be ready to purchase off the shelf by mid-October.

Nah they would never do that ... however if it is infact delayed it would probably be only a week or two. BUT I HAVE FAITH, AND ITS COMMING OUT THE 30th WOOOOOOT

Agreed. Valve will probably go Gold a little too late and the game will be on shelves as soon as it is ready.

Also, we don't know that the game is delayed. Things can change still July, you know.

Thats the thing...they're way to close right according to what info we have to delay it a month and a half, so I too think that we're likely going to see it mid-october IF it is delayed.

I realize there are several threads about this very subject, but some of us folks, like myself, come here to find information rather than post in the forums.
Personally, I felt it was a valid question and thought that I woudl respond. The point is, there are several people that come here everyday that have never been here and every thread is new to them.

It's not that people are sick of these threads so much, I think people are tired of everyone spamming useless information in them. If everyone wouls stay on track of the subject, the threads would be more enjoyable to read.
