graydon20 said:Ok well just to add some more stuff, we WONT be using anything related to bond. So basically the characters/game will have generic names. So far in our internal Alpha Stages we're using the name 00Source, we think it's fine for now.
And as for 'It'd never play, or feel, anything like Golden Eye, though.' Who sais? I mean, everyone on the mod team has the game, there's no reason why our programmers/coders couldn't create the game to make it feel like goldeneye. You'd have to remember though, that with a mouse/keyboard, the gameplay would be more unique to PC gamers, probably alot more fun too.

We're not asking you to live up to Goldoneye, just something thats fun.
In other news, I agree with everything the Mullinator says. Fullscreen would be different, a mouse and keyboard would be a great improvement, and to avoid issues, just call it '00 agent' mod or something. Then a patch could be released by 'someone' that changes it.
Petabyte said:Ok, maybe this isn't such a bad idea. Just make sure you map the levels correctly down to the inch.
I happen to know that James Pond is a popular (hah!) game involving a secret agent fish, so bang goes a good idea.graydon20 said:00 Agent is the name we're using along with 00Source. Anyone have any other cool names for the mod that wouldn't infringe on copyrights?
Petabyte said:Um, then don't call him bond. Call him pond.

lol, see post above yours. Great minds...iamaelephant said:There was a game called James Pond on Sega Master System, one of my favorite old Sega games too. You played a frog with a tux, and it has some of the wierdest enemies ever, like playing cards with mosquito wings. Very cool game.
