If you find WoW boring, MMO's are not the type of game for you, because as far as MMO's are concerned, WoW is by far the fastest paced of any MMO I know of.

dumb question about WoW. How are the events depicted in that video related to the actual gameplay?

That particular cinematic wasn't that great compared to others they have done. The beginning cinematic in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos is the best! With the orc and human fighting. Then they get clobbered by a burning legion dude.

What spell was the warlock doing, only thing I can think of is blastwave but thats a mage spell, am I missing something?

Closest spell to what he did is mage's blast wave, but it represents Hellfire.

Rain of Fire falls from the sky... hellfire is the wave that causes fire damage to yourself and surrounding enemies.
