Your last post was made a month ago, I'm going to assume you were playing WoW THE WHOLE TIME.

Nope, not at all. When I first got it I was, but my craze for it has died down. I go on at weekends, but notime else really.
 
Hard to be addicted to something that's so boring.
 
I'm loving WoW more than ever now - mainly due to the variety tbc introduced. Arenas, BG, world pvp, loads of 5 man content and raids. There's more to do than ever and i've yet to get bored (something which happened often in vanilla WoW 1-60)
 
I was crazy about it, got ti 70 in less than a week, then i got bored, and i play less than once a week now
 
Never played it. Doubt I ever will. Don't want to pay 8 quid a month or whatever it is.
 
Played WoW at my cousins house. Not my style. Good game, but no my style.
 
WoW is a battle that you just can't win. It's like trying to see the back of your head. No matter how long you try, you'll never succeed
 
Negative consumes too much time which can be used for more creative projects (such as building two wooden full scale Daleks).
 
Yeah, pretty obsessed. Right out of the door, the expansion gives a lot of material to work with.

I'd reckon I'm around halfway done with my attunement for Hyjal. Got all my Heroic keys, as well as Arcatraz and Karazhan. Now I just gotta run the Heroic material and wait for my guild to kick into the raid content. Cleared Karazhan and first boss in Gruul's Lair.

I still have three pieces of my Dragonstalker armor. Haven't found good replacements, RAP-wise.
 
Got WoW for christmas and loved it, however, here comes my big problem with MMORPGs; They bore me very easily. I played WoW for almost a month straight, but then when it came to January 25th, 26th, my subscription had to be renewed and I said; ****it, I'm bored with it. Buuuuut right around February 24th, I paid another bundle of money to Blizzard. I can't tell if this counts as an addiction or not, because it does consume the amount of time I normally spend by the computer (doesn't increase it however [though that would be really hard to do]), but only in one month-bursts. Right now? Completely love it! In a month? Probably back to raving on about how boring it is.
 
My gosh how many threads are there gonna be about if and why people are addicted to WoW.
 
Got 5 pieces of Judgement and all of the MC gear, also got the healer's ring from Nefarian (cant remember the name), Jindo's 1hd hand mace and that green healer's cape...wow ive just forgotten all the names of the gear (i think my healing gear added upto something near +550-600, and i was averaging 1000-1400 ish per FoL in raids with seal of light on.)

QUit because of Uni in Sep last year, but if you were to ask me anything pre-Naxx and BC release, i could tell you the answer pretty much. I was pretty damn obsessed, but now i think about it from time to time. Glad i left though...knowing me i will get back into it when i move into my own house out of blocked-port-uni-halls. Gah.
 
Used to play it additively, quit over a year, now I play it moderately (partially because my car is broke!).
 
Well, it had me hooked for a whole year. After that, It got so boring I wont even play it for free. It's not the best mmo, and the story sucks.
 
I wasn't aware of some kind of narrative in the game.

It's pretty insane, but I'm getting there too (minus the raid content) got all heroic keys except Sha'Tar.

Unfortunately, I'm one of the few people in my guild who has really focused on getting the rep requirements out of the way pronto. Everybody else has either been focusing entirely on loot or getting their epic flying mounts. So while I can sit back and relax for the most part, farming Aldor rep and whatnot, it seems I'm going to be waiting a bit for most others to catch up. Especially seeing as there are still people who haven't gotten their Arc/Kara keys yet. =P

This be me, working on some Shadowmoon valley stuff (namely the chain that begins attune for Tempest Keep "The Eye". Guild is currently working on the last couple bosses in Karazhan before we begin the 25 mans and get super serious about raiding again. No epic flying mount yet.. I always seem to find a way to have no gold :(.

That's cause there isn't, bar the initial introduction film(s). There's only a rather large backstory that you can choose to indulge in if you wish, and the only real use for it would be on RP servers. I only play on RP servers though.
 
Nope, never played it. I will try it someday but i dont think ill have fun.

Shmeh. I caved and got BC yesterday. Not because of any crushing need to play the game again, but just because all my friends are and I'm bored with everything else. Starting again is gonna suck though. Woo new mid-level content FTNOTHING :sniper:

That's when I can get the fugging thing to install, that is. My disc 4/4 of WoW decided to up and vanish into thin air, so I had to borrow a friend's. Of course it's never that simple, he got his later on and it's incompatible with my set. Naturally. Cue lots of errors and a fairly proportionate amount of screaming and hair-pulling/chair-throwing before I find this much out, tucked away in the nether regions of the WoW support boards. Here's hoping said friend will be willing to part with his other 3 discs long enough to get it up and (hopefully) running.


... And then it's back to the grind(tm)! :D

I have been playing this as often as I can since BC came out. I have a lvl 51 blood elf paladin on chromagus. I can't wait to get to the outland.

I was being sarcastic in regards to the "story sucks" comment.

That said, I am somewhat disappointed with some of the lore management in BC. An elf faction existing in the Horde alongside the trolls doesn't seem plausible to me. And both Kael'thas and Illidan seem to have turned into antagonists out of seemingly arbitrary reasons. I'm especially disappointed with the transformation of Kael, and I hope there's more to his story than "LOL MANA ADDICTION".

Well, the entire setting of the game is based off of previous events. I'm sure there is lore within the game that eplains it. I don't even want to get into it though hehe.
