looking good gunner i love the way that blizzard insist on making every humanoid female look brilliantly attractive while wearing minimal armour and using most of their mana to support their hugely busty breasts. oh well, im not complaining and neither is anyone else for that matter :cheeky:

This is the first MMORPG im excited about. I played the 14 day trial of star wars galaxies but didnt want to spend the money every month for game. Im going to be broke by the end of the month. The big releases are about a week apart so I should have time to finish halo 2 befor half life 2, then finish half life 2 befor I devote my time to WoW.
Unlucky for me though is my xbox is not reading DVD's very well any more so I think its time for a new one. Now I got to spend more money. But what do you expect I waited in line for 2 hours to get that xbox at midnight the first day it was released.

Holy shit, from that screeny it looks almost exactly like Fable ont he XBOX. Apart from the fact that WoW doesn't have cartoony giant hands

first off, I enjoyed warcraft.. but I wasn't a huge fan... when I saw this MMORPG I was like "ICK, those graphics are horrendous... I hate that cartoony shite"

my brother was obsessed with WOW, he plays a lot of WC3 (dota or something) and said that this mmorpg would be the best.
I laughed at him and told him the graphics alone would keep me away.

anyway yesterday I told him fileplanet subscribers could get it a week early and reserve a slot for the open beta, as well as have their characters transfer over... he was squealing with joy.. he has waited for this game like we are waiting for HL2.

anyway long story short, he got an FP account, dled the 2.8gb client, patched, registered and played.... and he was blown away.

and I watched... and so was I.
so I registered myself an account so that I could play along side him.

if you are an mmorpg fan... or even an action rpg fan... this is the game for you, I won't go into all the details save to say, if you have an fp account get it.. if you don't get the open beta, when it is released next week.....

I shit you not, I have never had this much fun in an mmorpg... and this is just a stress test.
I am most definately BUYING this on the 23rd, no doubt about it.

(oh the quests are phenomenal, no waiting to take your turn, easy to do, rewards are great, xp is pretty fast... ok JUST PLAY IT, and you willl understand why everyone loves it... take it from someone who was a detractor of WOW.. this game is KICKASS)

i was'nt WC3 fan too, i played it , it was good, not that good. anyway i played WoW the first stress test and i was like HOLY SHIT ! THE BEST MMO EVER !!. im getting this game for sure !!. now im downloading the second stress test

the only beef I have so far (and it is very minor) is that text should show above people's heads... the social aspect of the game is hindered using the chat on the bottom left.

there is absolutely no down time in this game... quests are actually FUN, not something an NPC has you do that takes you fifty years to complete, and all you get is a raggedy ass shoe or something.

I was a Ultima Online player for 4 years, I played from the first alpha (when everyone ran around naked and were killed by overflowing guards, and there was no paperdoll etc) so I know what to expect from an mmorpg, and WOW does everything right... even crafting.

Im loving it, speaking of which I am off to play it again

Hmm for awhile i was stuck between EQ2 and WoW.....i preordered EQ2. But then GTA SA came out and i was like lemme take the $40 i put down on EQ2 and buy GTA. Im loving GTASA, and glad i took my money off EQ2 cause im really getting drawn to WoW. EQ2 is comming out the 9th and its way too soon cause its go so many bugs and its pretty laggy. But WoW seems really fun and not just about being the best. I just might buy WoW instead.
