WoW + South Park = Win!

WOW WOW and well WoW!! I loooooove southpark and now WoW YES!! I knew they would do a WoW episode eventually!
 
...If the episode is anything like that 'trailer'...
It'll blow.

I was thinking that they'd South Park-ize WoW characters.
 
In a small clip on TV, they show all the kids fat, pimply, and leaning back in there computer lab and all you hear is a mouse click fest. WoW is more dangerous than smoking!
 
I recently started playing WOW but do I suck or the game is hard?

WoW should be a pretty easy start unless you're playing one of the more complicated classes such as Priest or Warlock. If you're playing Priest, yeah, the game's a total bitch until about level 40 to be fair. Rogues and Hunters are great classes to blaze through the leveling up part pretty easily.
 
Warlock isn't that hard at low levels, then again the warlock wasn't my first character.
 
Mages are fun and easy to level, though it's a pity you get the shit beaten out of you on a regular basis. Maybe I'm just a nub :(

Oh, and I can this episode flunking pretty badly D:

I played a Mage to about level 50 (I only had the attention span to take one of my character's to 60 :p) and I rarley died. Just frostbolt them to slow em down, and finish them off with fire. Huzzah!
 
I am a night elf hunter and I hav reached level 11, it takes so much time to increase a level?
 
WoW's very easy to get to grips with, which is why it's so popular.

Anyway, this sounds amusing.
 
I have a 60 Troll shaman and a 60 Troll warrior (Troll warriors are madly rare) I think all my characters are troll except my 30 Druid.

Gordon, no one whores out to South Park. South Park makes fun of everyone and everything. They simply have something saying that no characters or events are based off of real life and etc..

Episode just got done. It was hillarious! Best episode ever. Its too bad they played into the stereotype that anyone good at games has no life and is a fat digusting nerd.
 
lol... it makes WoW look like what I thought it would be. stupid.
 
That episode basically summed up the WoW players that play at the local lan, LOL.

I'm surprised so much of the terminology was accurate! And Cartman ain't a bad group leader! Should have had Horde as well though. And considering it was all Alliance, there'd be like a thousand more night elves if it was true to life. :)

Yah I hear yah I like to consider myself pretty dam good at most games. And I have a life too much in fact, get plenty of girls, not fat, not a nerd, etc. But hey the gaming community is expanding to new players its only a matter of time, stereotypes be gone! Episode itself was ok not one of the best tho.

I take it the whole community of South Park gets consumed by WoW and it's up to the parents to save them?

(This episode probably won't hit Australian television till like December at teh least.)
 
Great episode. And I don't play WoW but I have played similar games like Diablo 2 with friends and the things they say seem pretty much dead on :p . Kinda sad.

And to the guy who said you don't have to be a nerd to be good at games. Well, that's true for real games. For MMO clickfests that only require a huge time investment and no real skill or thought, you just have to have a lot of free time.
 
Heh. Well, I am a nerd. I'm just a lot of other things as well.

My guild actually took a break from our BWL raid to watch it and when we came back we realized what geeks we all are.
