wow worst patch ever

the new ns patch is pathedic, after like 4 months, this is all they can come up with? they didnt even fix the really important ones, like charge, acid rocket, xeno, primal, stuff like that, aliens just suck even more, and onos cara is still not worth it, and the fact that jp goes faster is just gay, they didnt even make alien a bit stronger, they made marines uber buff, but leave aliens to die, seriuosly, this is all they can come up with in 5 months, pathedic

You are complaining about a patch for a free mod? From what you describe, this patch doesn't even seem bad.

In order for it be qualified as a bad patch, it must be of Far Cry Patch 1.2 quality or worse.

Even that wasn't too bad. Runs fine on my rig. I use it for SM3.0 which helps out my FPS a bit.

Yeah, it's the best HL mod out there, but sometimes it sucks that mod teams can't just stick to a release instead of having to constantly update it, and sometimes the newer versions are worse than the older. Just think how the time spent on making that piece of crap Combat could have been spent on adding so much more to the main game mode.

Just be grateful that they don't patch it like Blizzard does Warcraft III. They patch by trial and error, and never get anything done anymore. Just look at the change logs with each patch.

"Let's see, the Huntresses are too powerful, lets make then more vulnerable to everything, and take double damage from siege weapons. Well people are complaining about the Beast Master's bear stomping on everything. (raises hand) 'We could reduce the BM's base strength by 2 points and also his gain per level so he will end up having 5 less strength points at lvl 10 than before.' Excellent idea! It has also come to my attention that the spells that heros cast do too much damage to too many units simultaneously. So we are going to limit how many units can be affected at one time by the powerful AOE spells."

Aren't they up to 1.17 now? Who knows, maybe in a year or two we'll have Wacraft III v2.0

Actually, they skipped from 1.06 to 1.10 since it was a huge patch.
So really its only 13 patchs... ahh still to much..
Then again dont blizzard games start at 1.4? So then it would be 9.. still to much. O wait i forgot to count the A & B type patchs (where its like 1.1B)

Damn to many patchs.
But thats why i dont play wc3 melee, i do custom games. Im just gratefull that they updated the editor so its faster and less laggy.

Yeah they did skip a few hundredths, but they've made up for it.
So far there has been 20(including the very soon to be released 1.17) patches for WC3 RoC.

Oh and don't forget that with EVERY patch that Blizz gives the WC3 community you lose the ability to watch old replays. That would suck if you got a good replay with every patch wouldn't it?
