k so me n my friends are out tonight at a park, and we had a ton of fireworks. (it's canada day) we also had like 10 beers. so we put on a couple of fireworks, thew a couple of beer bottles on the ground, n some moms come out with their kids and the moms r like dont put beer bottles here at least in the garbage set an example, and then she says theres kids here now can u plz do fireworks over there(on the grass), and the family or w/e was near the playground right. and then they started shooting off fireworks in our spot!!!!!! they kicked us out then used our spot!!!!! then i get mad n shoot one just over there heads and my luck, it shot down a bit n exploded near em, but w/e thats irrelevant. then cops come n search us n shit saying we shouldnt be doing stuff here cause theres kids, even though we were there first WTF!!!!!!! then he took all our fireworks took our name address number down and all that shit, and found the beer, but my friend went to jail for that and other stuff but w/e. my point is wtf is this shit. im so pissed btw i live in ontario canada. r they even allowed to do that like WTF!!!!!!!!

Yeah, the assholes taking your spot woulda pised me off too, but that doesn't seem to have anything to do with the police. I dunno if fireworks are illegal in canada or not; they are here, in california, so that's probably why the police were bugging you in the first place.
 
How old are you? Just incase you're drinking underage. Also, it could be for the fact you aimed a firework right above the families' heads.

Bunch of drunk dudes + fireworks + bad (or in your case, intentional) aim + other people including kids.
 
it couldve been an accident tho u no, but there not gonna call my house right? just bcuz they put my number down doesnt mean i have a record or anything too right? my friend said they didnt call his house last time so. do they just put ur name down n stuff, just in case they see u again somewhere for the night? cuz they did say if they see us in any other park then were in trouble.
 
FireWORKS aren't Illegal in Canada, but fireCRACKERS are...

I live in Ontario and was shooting fireworks off in a park, too cops didn't care, it was probably because you were shooting them at people..

BTW, I woulda been pissed too if they took my spot..

They don't give you a criminal record, they just take your name and stuff down just in case..
 
Well, if you're home now, and if they haven't called you, then it seems like nothing's going down. Why'd your friend get arrested? Was he arguing or something?

I'd be mad at those people too. Although anything you do like fire over their heads could get you in trouble for being dangerous. idk

Where I live you can own fireworks but you can't buy them (firework stores are on the border) and it's illegal to shoot them. My friend was firing some in his backyard one year and a cop came over. He didn't see my friend fire them from far away but saw he did have fireworks. He was going to take them away but my friend told him it wasn't against the law to own them. He actually took him inside and showed him on the website and the cop didn't do anything. lol
A lot of people shoot fireworks illegally in their backyard or in fields here.

But I don't know what the rules are where you live so.

no my friends messed he went to jail cause he had weed n it was his beer n he had a warrant on him cuz he missed court, he went to england or sumthing but cops are so stupid eh, i threw away so much shit n they were standing in front of me.

heh, me and my friend take the little firecrackers and walk around, and thrown them around in the park, and shoot at lights with airsoft guns. One went off in my ear one time, then my friend shot me with the airsoft gun ;(

@ darkknight- so, your friend is old enough for court duty, but is too young to drink? Or you guys aren't, and he was giving it to you, etc...

According to your profile you are 16. What did you expect? If you drink underage in public, especially while firing things at/near people, you run the risk of getting in trouble.

At least I assume thats what you did, based on my grasp at reading your writing?

I'd kick your ass if I saw you throwing beer bottles on the ground, smashing them into shards of glass and not picking them up afterwards(just about noone who does it, cleans it up).
 
This might be a good time to discuss the 'teenage culture', wherein teenagers feel completely seperate from society and that they can act how they desire without consequence...
 
Fireworks are not supposed to be used at where kids are. If you use them improperly you can get 6 months in prison.
 
wow. Of course the cops can do that, you were doing several illegal things.
1) you were underage and drinking
2)you were drinking in a public park
3) you were shooting fireworks at kids

You're lucky you weren't arrested.
 
Probably underage.
Smashing beer bottles in a park.
Setting off fireworks in a park near children.
Shooting fireworks at groups of people.

Fireworks are illegal where I am. So people just go outside and fire guns into the air. :|

Also, I agree that shooting fireworks toward groups of people and drinking underage was not a good idea...
 
You need to show a little more responsibility when it comes to shooting fireworks. Especially with kids around...

In Canada it is illegal to have bad grammar.
The police tracked your internet activities and deemed you a threat to public intelligence.

As a result, you lose Public Park Access until such time as you write at a consistent fourth-grade level.


Or maybe it was because you were drinking underage and harassing children even younger than yourselves. :|

Exactly. It sounds like you were being very irresponsible and the police had every reason to lay the smackdown.
 
The appropriate cause of action would of been to not shoot fireworks at people, fireworks are more unreliable and dangerous than handgrenades so use your common sense. When shooting off fireworks in the first place, you should of been out in the open and not near swings and round abouts. Yes, the mums were just as bad as you but atleast be able to set a good example to their children whilst their parents aren't.

I didn't know it was illegal for minors to drink alcohol, only buy it. If it's illegal to drink I'm quite sure they'd have to jail the entire population.

Atleast here, it's illegal to drink in public areas. IE parks. And if police find minors with alchol they are allowed to confiscate it.
