badger you're turning into an old man. honestly.
it happened to me and a group of friends about halfway through uni. we put it down to overexposure to girls, alcohol and loud music. we just felt unmotivated, lost loads of weight, and our brains turned to mush.
it's a form of depression. where your brain has to level out all the chemicals, so it might overcompensate especially when you're drinking etc. been through a bad emotional patch recently?
but whatever you do, don't go see a doctor. i had a friend once who went through the same change at 18, and she's still taking anti-depressants you don't wanna be doing that.
but anyway, it's a chemical imbalance. there are probably days when you feel more focused? and days when you just plain can't be arsed. it'll yoyo like that. i'm not being much help am i? :/
best thing i can advise, look at your diet and lifestyle. try and eat stuff with less free radicals etc, and carry on going to the gym.
hope it works out mate.
