wtf? popup?

Can't recall ever getting a single pop-up from here, must be on your end.

If it happens again, note which ads are currently showing on the page.

Though we will never use pop-ups/unders, we cannot vouch for what some idiot advertiser will do with their ads. It's possible for them to hide pop-up code in their adverts. That's completely against their contract with Accelerator Media, but unfortunately it does happen.

Otherwise, yes, time for a spyware scan!

Might be that you have selected the "Pop-up alarm" thingo for PM's. When you click "accept" FF would automatically block the Pop-up PM.

If you haven't... Well... D:

Or you could of subconsiasly clicked one of the ads which caused a pop up.

...I doubt it though.

I'm not messing with you guys. I didn't click the ad and I didn't have a new PM. Btw my adaware found 5 critical objects, so that might've been it. It only happened once.

Ok I never see it again so I guess it was on my side.

But I got something else.

I noticed that when this ad is on, I can't use my scrollwheel. Now that's annoying.

You can't use your scrollwheel when that ad appears or you can't use it in general ?

That might be because the ad draws the window focus, so you're in fact trying to scroll the ad. If that's the case it would be fixable by clicking in the page outside the ad area.

Like I wouldn't have tried that.... Doesn't this problem occur to anyone else?

Thanks. Next time I'll remember that I'm somehow supposed to smell your exact level of expertise and the details of all your previous attempts at fixing the problem before trying to help. Now shut up and install adblock.

Whey thanks that helped. Oh and I didn't mean to be mean or anything :|

Ugh it showed up again (the ad), and my mousewheel blocked again. The stupid thing is, I can't adblock it cause it's flash :|

Run in a window then jut nob it off. Still it shouldn't pop up anyway

:smoking:

Ok I figured it only blocks if it's in view, and it doesn't block if the quality of the flash is set to medium or low. Switching it back to high again and it blocks.... stupid ad. Munro, can't you do anything about it?
