WTF South Park?

Anyone watch the episode last night? I thought it was actually funny until the end where they made it all depressing. They do have a contract with comedy central until 2013 but it sounds like they might be thinking of stopping the show once the contract ends (2009-2013 tween years).

I would hate to see this show go, although sometimes it can be a mixed bag still by far my favorited animated show there is.

I dunno what's been happening to South Park recently, the episodes are so varied it does my head in.

I've also noticed they're tying up a lot of loose ends, or giving characters much more depth/closure. Cartman finding out who is father really was last season, or the City Wok man's real identity in last week's episode. Maybe South Park really is drawing its close. I hope not.

I have the weirdest computer bug. Whenever I try and stream south park online, no matter what site I use, my computer starts playing background noise from a restaurant. You can here people eating, talking, pouring drinks etc. It's really annoying. Sometimes you can here a narrator talking about a recipe too. It plays whether South Park is playing or not. Best I can work out is there is an advert that appears on South Park related video pages and for whatever reason plays this music.

Yeah, I watched it and the ending was WTF? for me too.

Totally out of the blue to do something like that as well. Weird.

Just watched the Matt Stone and Trey Parker interview on the Daily Show last night. They seemed to say that south park is in no way over. Which is a relief.
