well interesting info, a little late on atis part. I also heard the 512 7800gtx comes out on nov 11, so well have to see how that is against a 512 x1800xt

Agreed though, the prices of new video cards are outrageous.

I'm very pleased that the price of the 7800GT has come down so quickly. It makes me hope for the same, next generation.

The 6800gt has gone down immensely. I purchased mine for around 380USD, and now you can get a BFG for about 310.

Reminds me of the 9800pro prices dropping. Too bad a number of the 6800GT models/brands I know of are considered discontinued.
