Will put it in tomorrow, wish best of luck, plzz

Gratz mate. Good card indeed

Some might mention the new x1900xt that has just been released, but personally i've found this card to be fantastic, well up there with the 256 7800GTX in most games, faster in some, not to mention cheaper !!!

Big up the x1800xt

:E

Enjoy

Ok, I got it set up, how hot is this thing supposed to be, its at 60c IDLE!!!!

There have been temperature reading problems with the latest version of drivers from ATi. I was getting temperature warnings all the time and then I installed the 5.5 Catalyst drivers and now things are fine.

Congrats on the new card!

Im actually using atitools to see my temp, but what would be the normal temp, and the max temp that I should be worried about. Couple this card with a new 10k raptor, thank god for trust funds!

Was thinking of upgrading from my X850XT PE 256mb pci-e to an X1900XT 256mb .... is it worth it ??

^ Sure if you're rich and will also be able to upgrade to a DX10 card as soon as they come out..

very nice card.........my friend of mine has just purchased this card and man is it a beast.........not to mention very easily overclockable

can i get any temp ranges, this thing is 58C idle, i fear what a game would do

Mine idles between low and mid 50's. That's pretty normal for this card, it is quite powerful after all !!! Not to mention the fan on this thing is a monster, and it really kicks in once the temps start to rise, and is more than capable (if not rather loud) of keeping the temp within an acceptable range. If you are worried then the latest ati tool allows manual configuration of fan speeds in percentage increments for each temp bracket, i.e. >35, >45 etc.

man goin from a x850xt to a x1800 , jeezuz christ u already have a good card! wait on it. Im still using my 9800pro 128mg... it works amazing still with games!

Im gonna wait it out till everythign comes down in price. Then im gonna upgrade my system. until then... 9800 is workin juss fine

PEACE
