X800XT In the UK

Hey guys,
Still can't find anywhere that has this bloodly card in stock (ideally the Sapphire).

Have any of you had any luck finding it?

Whats the best price you can find and which brand would you recommend going for?

The UK is suffering from a severe shortage as any stock is being used to fulfill preorders etc.
The best place i reckon is www.overclockers.co.uk and preorder it for the next batch. They are reckoning 4 weeks until large amount of stock come in plus, as they are the UKs biggest hardware dealer they get priority on stock.
As far as brands go any brand is good, they all use the same reference design so just go for the cheapest or most available.

Yeah I've been checking overclockers.co.uk daily.
They've got the PCI Express version in stock now just none of the AGP ones I can use.

Just have to be patient I guess.

I would preorder it if i was you. As for the next month or so they are all going to fulfill preorders. the Connect 3d one has the shortest queue. You can also look into flashing an x800pro vivo to XT if you need it fast.

is the x800pro vivo identical to a real x800xt once modded?
No soldering required etc?

The x800 pro vivo is a speed binned XT, ie. they are not 100% stable at xt speeds, so all you need to do is flash it with the xt bios so it thinks it is an xt and add some cooling like the new vga silencer, this adds stability.

However not all are able to get XT speeds but all are able to unlock the extra 4 pipelines.

Careful, it's never a sure thing that the 4 pipelines will work. Yes you will be able to unlock them for sure, but it's if they will work is the question. They may be damaged or something, and produce artifacts and you'll have to go back to 12 pipes. Pretty much you don't know if they'll work cause they weren't meant to be used.

Christ why do people think its that hard? Go to ati's shopping site, choose the x800xt, buy it, and itll be there in 2-4 weeks. It's not that hard.

Actually AFAIK ATI's UK site does not sell the cards only lists stores that stocks it.

Also if you read the orignal message I was asking if anyone knew anyone that has the card in stock .

I have places that can hold one for me just wanted to see if I can get it any quicker.

Even if you found one in stock, it'd take almost 2 weeks to get there anyway. And it's the UK, so idk what your expecting. But thanks for the flame, I'll keep that in mind. :thumbs:

Well sorry if I came across a bit strong but thats what your post felt like - a flame.

Most mail order places are quite good and if its in stock it will normally arrive 1 - 2 days.

Sorry I just feel strongly about this bloodly card, I work down the road from Tottenham Court Road and keep checking the computer shops a few times a week and keep being told "we're getting a batch tomorrow" yet I've been trying for weeks now!
