the XB2's look like a fatter, ugly, dull Ps2 controller, im sure the final design will look like the Ps2 controller with a big XBox jewel
that takes up 3/4's of the controlls total circumfrence. MS has never and will never be known for renovation. They will always play follow the leader and pretend they are the leader, with a big plunge shoved up there ass. i hope in my lifetime i see the fall of Microsoft.

if that's real...it might look ugly but it's probably been designed to feel better. it's not like you stare at the controller when you're playing a game is it?

and it'll probably be like pamela anderson. smaller and heavier than you'd expect.

Same here, I dont really think they will change it, theres no need too really, the cons good as it is. By far my fav.

AFAIK M$ said they're keeping the styling of the Xbox controller but removing the black, white, start and select buttons (which I rarely use but don't see how they can keep the functionality in games without them)

if that is a prototype then it looks as i'd expect it to, don't forget its early and they have to finish it off.

That has to be a joke.

If anything - the massive 'dead zone' in the PS2 analogue sticks is enough to put me off (imagine trying to play Monkey Ball with one of them - it just wouldn't be possible). For precise control and comfort both the N64 and GC pad are easily better tha the PS2 pad.

//back on topic. I didn't think the controler-s was that bad. The analogue sticks are good, accurate and responsive (and can compete with the gc pad in this respect, imo). Sure, it's not the most attractive of comfy pad around - but the basics are all there (and still better than the PS2 pad). A few tweaks and it could be very good.

I couldn't give a fig what it looks like, aside from the weight and bad d-pad the original xbox controller seemed fine to me. I would have liked triggers like the GC but nevermind.
