People...with the way the PC market for gaming is going this is the best thing that could really happen. The gaming industry on PC is on the decline, things like xbox becoming more like a PC would be ALOT more people in to our community,.

One quick way to tell if a game was designed for a console vs PC is the visible text.
and no game save options.

if you see no text on the HUD of an FPS, but you get bars or pretty lights, there ya go.
or if the text is REAL lo res, like 320x240. that because its designed to be played on a TV!

also if you have no regular game save/load or quick save/load function
thats also a dead giveaway! you get crap messages like "new content unlocked"
"checkpoint" also the games play to a MUCH younger target audience, say around
10 or so, this is the dumbing down taking place for the console crowd!

I am really starting to see this as coming full circle, where the companies who are just in it for the bucks will go console only and get out of the PC gaming entirely, but the REAL gaming companies will continue to evolve the content, AI, and graphics.

Also, if you think that having MS control hardware AND software in your PC
is a GOOD thing, put your head back down in the sand and stop talking.
