Xbox 360 Faceplates - The Choice is Yours

I read Organism as Orgasm. Oh deary me.

I'm going to have to go with Aluminium (British spelling, I presume?), sleek and discreet.
 
I like the aluminum and organism cover, pretty cool feature but meh.

c'mon they made the xbox 360 look shit, just to they could sell this post-modern crap!:p
 
So... graphics used to be the defining factor... now it is how the console looks? I remember a day when people bought consoles because of the games it played. Last generation, it was for the graphics. Now this generation, people are judging which consoels they are buying purely on what it looks like? Sheesh.
 
I'll stick to stock, unless they bring out a black one to match the rest of my AV stuff. Having a silver monitor is bad enough.

Quit twisting it around. We aren't judging xbox360 based PURELY on what it looks like. We are judging it based on what the games look like. Microsoft isn't forcing anyone to buy these, they're just offering an option to anyone that wants to, which in my opinion is a good deal for everyone.

I still don't see why you're bitching. Go away.
 
"Orgasm" is pretty cool. If I were to get a 360 I'd probably get that one.

My "bitching" was only triggered by this. One thing that I could not bear at E3 this year was people saying how they were going to buy "such-and-such" because it was the sleekest. Or how they weren't going to buy a PS3 because it looked like Spiderman's portable barbeque. I think these are a nice idea, but what is the betting they cost £15 just for the sake of having a nice looking under-TV area. If I really wanted to change the look of my console, I would spend a few days personalising it myself. I just don't see the point...sorry...

Before any of you start trying to change my mind, the above statement is opinion and is not supposed to influence you.
 
It's basically just taking PC case modding to consoles. Though console case modding has been going on for a long time already, this just speeds things up and makes it much more easier and accessible for the end-user. If you want to customize your console you can, but then again you can stick to the original design and save some money. It's bragging rights.
 
Moji looks cool, sorta reminds me of Matrix code. But, I think I'm going to have to go with Organism.
 
are they free? probably not ...meh who cares what it looks like ..it's not the same as modding a pc as everyone's pc is different ..no matter how many variations you have there'll still be another 245,894 other people who have the same one you do

Yeah you do, you're just too ignorant to change your previous opinion after I called you on it. The point is that people would like their xbox's to be personalized and look cool WITHOUT taking days to mod it. Modding your box on your own voids the warranty, and to be honest, most people just don't have the tools, time, or skills to successfully mod an xbox's appearance. These, while not totally "customized", give consumers a chance to make their xbox more appealing to themselves.

Just admit that you see the point, but you, yourself, won't be buying one. That is one reply I can accept.

I can see why people will buy them. But I don't see the point in shelling out for something that will remain shut under your TV for the most time. I for one prefer how it looks without any "Orgasms" all over it.

That is the only answer I shall give. So I think we are going to have to agree to disagree.
