Xbox 360 Games Underwhelming?

Why in the h*** would anyone want elder scrolls IV: Oblivion or call of duty 2 for the xbox360 if you have a nice pc. Most like the controls better on a pc for a fps, but oblivion is suppose to have tons more options and features on the pc (plus the ability to mod).

Because Oblivion will chew up my graphics card and spit out the remains. An upgrade will cost me far more than a 360.

//edit - can't spell :/

Because not everybody can afford a "nice" (what an understatement) PC. And I've never known the Elder Scrolls to have that big of a mod scene.

Oh there's a shitload of Morrowind mods. I'm talking at least over 300 or so. Or maybe it was 100...

But I'm getting Oblivion for Xbox 360 because it would definetly cost me another computer and a new graphic card just to play it.

i dont get why he's mad that games are "just about shooting things". thats bullshit, thats EXACTLY WHAT I WANT.

^ hahah.

see, this is why console-haters should stop, bashing them is really quite useless.

As far as the revolution goes, I don't think I'm going to be able to make it 40+ hours ACTUALLY swinging a sword (pretty much) before I pass out because I am a lazy bastard.

I like the look of saints row, even if it is a GTA clone, it looks to be a GTA clone done right, looks sexy with its physics and such. Plus the ability to cusotmize everyhting about your character, male of female, black white or brown, any clothing you want, to me is the selling point.

Let's just say ol' Dr. White didn't have much in common with CJ, though it was fun for the time I had with him.

Damn the 'underwhelming' list of games I want and great hardware for a cheap price the 360 is offering - I just cracked and pre-ordered a 360 with PD0 and Oblivion.

2nd of December, co-op PD0 sessions at my house! - everyone's invited \o/

Heh, I'm waiting until about March until I pick up one myself - possible price cut, a few more games out, established services and hopefully any technical issues that inevitably crop up in the first batch should be gone. I'm not going to have to enter a warzone to pick it up on the day, too.

I'm looking forward to it though :D It means I get to play some fantastic games without splashing out £2000 to upgrade my PC every 12 months...

Bad news guy, we might not see Oblivion and a few other games till 2006 :(.

Which is why it's likely that I won't get the 360 until the spring. By that time, ES4 and Gears of War should be out, along with a possible price cut for the system itself.

Then again, I can always get it for Christmas and play PD0.
