Xbox 360 pics..again

I think it looks _VERY_ nice.

Controller looks like it could be meh, but I need to hold it to test it. Microsoft should send me the console just so I can tell everyone what it's like to hold the controller to end disputes on how uncomfortable it looks :p
 
The control pad doesn't seem to have changed much either
 
More hyped now for May 12th and E3 than ever! :E
 
It looks terrible, like some air ionizer or cheap portable electric radiator.
 
Worst design for a console...ever.
The name makes Z E R O sense now.
They should just call it Xbox 2.

I hope not. Xbox Next sounds so much better.
 
It doesnt look good... i dont like the plasticy look, brushed steel or alluminium, maybe... but white plastic is so 50's and tacky.

The name "360" makes 0 sense.
I agree with joule that "Xbox Next" or even "NextBox" would have been a better name.
Now someone tell me that it's fake please!
 
Well its pretty much comfirmed that Xbox 360 will look like that because diffrent shots of the same thing have popped up everywhere
 
I wonder if the controllers are still freakishly huge?
 
The jewel on the pad looks alot smaller than the normal xbox ones so i hope they;ve learnt their lesson
 
Nope, they are around S-Controller sized (screenshots give you an approximate size of depth and such).. They may be a tad larger, due to the fact they must hold the wireless technology, and now there are shoulder buttons.

I think the console looks really damn cool...

The '360' refers to its universal media functionality - TV/Tivo, DVD, Internet etc. So in a way, it does make sense. The Controller S is an excellent controller, and I'm glad they've brought it back for the 360.
 
I say they should call it the SecksBox... because adding TiVo to the console = teh secks!
 
I don't like the design, reminds of an Apple then a Microsoft.

It's smaller than the original PS2. Considering how much more powerful it is, I think it's fine.

Meh, it looks alright. It does look weird. I will probably pick up the Nintendo Revolution anyways.
 
Just like everybody thought the ps2 looked crap when it was first revealed? The same with the xbox? And to a lesser degree the gamecube.

It's called 360 because of reasons aforementioned, it's also named that because they can't call it the xbox 2 while theres a ps3 out, that's just bad marketing because people automatically assume 2 < 3 in quality.

I think the setup looks great I love the console design very sweet definitley getting one of these!! :)

Nah, 720 or 1080... so people would think it is 2x or 3x as good, respectively.

Also, 360+180 is 540... not 520... in case that was what you were going for.
 
Oh God, that looks horrible... It looks like the kind of thing that snobbish art pricks with berets would gather around and socialize about while drinking coffee and taking notes (in poem form) on their Apple laptops.

I think it looks cool. Maybe not upended like that, but if it's sitting there like a DVD player would, it should look a lot better. Like how a PC tower might look stupid sitting on its side, but looks fine when it's standing vertically.

Color scheme = win. And don't forget the rumoured "skins" that you get to add. So in that respect, the color scheme makes perfect sense, as the standard base coat of color on pretty much anything is white.
 
Yeah, maybe it will look better when I see it in black. But I also think the controller is pretty meh as well. Then again, I was one of the few people that actually liked the size of the original X-Box controllers.

Although the console looks like crap.
 
The controler looks like the Controler S design, but weirder, they should have just completly coppied the controler s design but make it greyish. And i am not much of a fan of the whole vertical stand thing. I like my stuff horizontal.

I'm pretty sure you can lay it horizontally. Not everyone likes putting their discs into vertical trays :p
 
I think the console looks great but the controllers could use some work.
And it would be a huge mistake to call it the Xbox 2. PS2 was unoriginal enough
 
Uhhh...it's a next-gen system and they took out the Black and White buttons? Now it has less buttons than most systems.

I was one of the few that liked the big xbox controller as well. I can't stand the S-controller after having played with the big one for so long.

It has the black and white buttons, it's just that they've been moved to behind the triggers now.
