Xbox Half Life 2....it exists dont deny it

I'm only gonna get HL2 for the PC so a: I can see for myself whether it really runs and looks better than the console version and primarily b: So I can screw around with Garry's mod =D

Thats no better than just playing Half-Life 1\2 on Pc and then saying the console versions suck\rock.

You have to play both the PC and Console versions and then decide which one was funner\equal.

I never said that it was better, I was just saying that it is just as good. However, I do personally prefer playing FPSs on a controller, since it's easier for people with clumsy fingers like me:thumbs: .

I know exactly what you said.

I'll repeat myself,

How do you know the pc version is just as good as the console version and vice versa? You never played it. How do you actually know?

Uhhhhhhh...........ok, this thread is going on a litle too long now.......think it should be closed? (Yes it should!)

Well so much for that. I guess Valve has yet to implement it. I have heard they are working on something similar for future Episodes released for Source on the PC.
The streaming system is in place in the Xbox version. It's there to allow them to keep the same number of loading points as the PC version (well, they still had to split levels up in a few cases).

That's no mean feat when you consider that the Xbox only has 64MB of memory.

You want a comparison? I'll give you one. I played on a pc, and an xbox... frankly, I like em' both the same (the xbox one better because I can play it whenever ^^ and because I don't have a good pc... till november... YAY ATHELON!) They are equal, and I only noticed 1 level split, and thats on water hazard after you go undera bridge, up a ramp, that hangs to the left, and into a werehouse where you can either jump off the side, or lowere the airboat into the bottom. Thats the only difference to me, and the graphics are no different. The only downside is you cant play with mods, and thats not quite that tragic... who needs BMsource? I played half-life1, and I don't need to play it again just because the graphics are better... it'll probly release on xbox anyaway... Hell, you can even mod the xbox to get a browser... they might make a new live function where you can go on the internet, and valve might team with garry, and put it there. NOBODY KNOWS! Don't say shit if theres no solid proof from you. Btw, you wanted proof, and I just gave it to you.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but thats never gonna happen. The xbox is basically dead in the water now with the 360 out. MS dont care about the original xbox enough to do anything like that. Although mods like GMod on the 360 might be a possibility, as a purchase through xbox marketplace or something like that.

sorry to burst YOUR bubble, but you can also mod the 360 ;)

but I still rest on my previous point, the game's no different.

I guess you're right there, i am getting the pc version just to play around with garry's Mod until the end of time itself. fps is based on how much RAM you have and unless you can find a way of shoving a fudgeton of it into your Xbox, you've really got no choice of how fast it all moves wih the Xbox, so it probably is a lesser version, you're right
God you don't have a clue.
