Xbox Wireless adapter and Xbox360

Hi i recently purchased this

for my xbox so i could play in my room wirelessly. Now that the xbox360 is coming i was wondering if this adapter would work on it? I dont want my money going to a waste. If u look at the xbox.com they have a new xbox360 wireless adapter.

I wanna know if i buy the xbox360 will i be able to use my xbox adapter on the xbox360?

If it connects to your ethernet port. Yes. On paper it should work.
Though... Microsoft might of hardcoded something into the wireless adapter to make it only compatable with the Xbox.
EDIT: 128 bit encryption on the adapter. I change my answer to No.
