I've played on Xbox360 twice, and I love its gamepad! Is it possible to use this device on PC?

Sure, but this thread belongs in Hardware. No biggie.

Why you would want to use this controller on your PC is beyond me though...for FPS at least.

if you have the wired controller you can plug it in and windows will do the rest.
if you have the wireless controller check AmishSlayer post

This guys' some kind of bot. What's with the wrinkle cream and shit.

Racing games for those who don't have a steering wheel or anyting :p
Also for games like Resident Evil, Geometry Wars, and Phantasy Star, I wouldn't play without it.

There are many games where it isn't even possible to play without an analog gamepad. For example, emulation of N64, PS1, Dreamcast, etc.

But yeah, racing games are that much better when you have analog control over everything.

Unfortunately though, Rockstar screwed up the San Andreas gamepad support. It's not really usable, for me anyway. Hopefully they get it right if/when GTA 4 comes out.

I use the xbox controller for emulator games and trackmania.
Funnly enough my keyboard is better for trackmania, the analog is too sensitive, and it;s hard to steer precisely, but it's just so dammed fun to sit back and relax.

Yes.

All of his posts are threads, which are basically generic questions or something in the proper section. He's advertising his sig.

I don't own a X360 but I bought a X360 gamepad for NFSC.

Yeah it works great for NFS, LFS, GTR 2, DiRT, Test Drive, and Richard Burns Rally.

Want to get a steering wheel one day though. I like racing games.

DMC4 is coming out on the pc and hopefully when GTA4 arrives it'll have decent pad support. Pretty much everything bar rts, fast paced fps and inventory heavy games is better with a pad.

Cool, I heard DMC4 is coming to 360, but I didn't know it was coming to Windows as well. Hopefully it is good, I liked the first one a little. Second one was very disappointing.
