Xbox360 or PC version

Hey folks,

So I'm definitely picking this game up but recently I'm starting to be a bit conflicted as to which version of the game to pick up. I have both a PC capable of running the game and an Xbox. However, I also have 7.1 surround on my xbox but not on my PC

Anyone have any suggestions/reasons as to why pick it up on one platform over the other? I know BC:1 was console only, so I'm somewhat tempted to believe that BC2 will still be a console port to PC which means the PC version may not be as good.

Anyone have any input on this? Which version is everyone else getting?

The PC version happens to be very hard on GPU, so if you don't have a very good PC go straight for the xbox version. If you're confident in your PC's capabilities, I recommend PC versions of all games possible.

Headphones beat surround sound any day.

PC Specs:

Core2Duo @ 2.8 ghz
4GB DDR2 800
8800GT

I can run every game I have ever tried to play Maxed @ my monitor's native resolution (1440x720)

I'm fairly confident my PC can run the game, unless its a bad port.

Thing is, the 8800 won't be able to play it maxed. That's how much of a burden this god damn game is going to be.

You'll still be able to run it on lower settings though.

Really? Hmm that'd be a first. My 8800 eats every game out there alive nowadays, since I don't really run at a high resolution.

The damn game wants a quad core for recommended specs. Of course, I have no way of knowing exactly how it'll all work together, but it's a light prediction.

I'd suspect the 8800GT and 2.8 C2D would do Medium settings well. Really just a guess, though, but that puts him in between the recommended and min specs.

Does anyone have a list of the PC version's differences (besides keyboard & mouse controls of course)?

What system are you guys getting it on?

PC of course
it's not some crappy port... they built it from the ground up for PC
also, more players, better graphics, dedicated servers, "mouse support"

I am looking but can't seem to find a lick of info. I know there is something, like max player size and the likes.

I'm also getting it for PC.

It utilizes DX11, and I just got a DX11 card (whole new rig actually, with quad core), so I'm hoping to be able to see how well the game performs! The differences aren't likely going to be mind-blowingly different, but more subtle and hopefully it will perform at/beyond DX9 code path.

I would also be surprised if you could run the game maxed out with those specs. We'll see though!
