Recently, I went into town to upgrade to a XFX GeForce FX5600XT. Besides having Pixel Shading Technology, most of my gaming applications runs at around the same Frame Rate as my old GeForce MX440 card (Made by the same manufacturer). Even stranger, Freelancer doesn't recognise the new card but knows what an MX card is, and comes up with a warning. If anybody wants to add something please go ahead.

I'm taking the card back tommorrow and trying to find a new card later on, can someone recommend one

9800XT or x800 - of course if you have the cash..

I've decided to wait another month (or open up my savings, and get my self a new Case, Motherboard with increased Processor, Ram capability as well as a AGP 8x) , and a graphics card (9800XT or Pro, whichever comes in eye contact first)

9800XT is the biggest ripoff out there at the moment.

I meant to say AiW but I forgot :(

It still bears in that the XTs come with faster memory(2.0ns compared to the 2.8ns of the fastest 9800 Pros) and therefore are easier overclockers. Plus they have that beauty of a heatsink/fan cobmo(sounds better that way, eh?). But if you wanna hack, you "can" change the Pro into a XT. I have a Pro and like it.

man FX series suck, just get a 9800pro and you'll be happy you did

Yeah....Sorry DEATH eVADER if I offended you by my statement, because in all honesty I have an FX5600XT myself, and it just sucks, I know how bad they are :)
