XMP full version today?

The people on the U2 forums are saying the full version of XMP will be open for download today. I havnt been able to confirm this but I haavnt been able to deny this eather. Anyone have any more info? Please post it here.

XMP is the multiplayer part for Unreal 2.

and it ROCKS.

mix Domination, Capture the flag, and BF1942 and your close....

the best way to describe it is mix BF1942 and Wheel of Time "Citidel" and you have it.

It is ALOT of fun! Vehicals, HUGE maps, and team based gameplay that is FUN. SWEET.

XMP is being released today, confimed about an hour ago by an Epic employee.

It's got some cool features - heavily borrowing from RTCW in particular.

Unfortunately the fighting's a bit crap imo ..... usually degenerating into everybody hovering about and firing guns like loonies. The guns arn't too good either :/

I did not like XMP at all, now if they just got the unreal 2 game, with all the turrets and stuff you could place, and all the unreal 2 guns, then it would of been cool

XMP is a load of shit, I can't believe people are buming it so much. I have seen it all done before and considerably better in Tribes 2.

Once again the graphics are nice but the vehicles are a big disapointment and so is the general gameplay. this doesn't make up for the single player which was Ok but not a worthy succesor to Unreal.

I'm quite pissed off with the Unreal series as of late, I was disapointed with the weapons and atmosphere in UT2003. Then U2 came along with amaturist voice acting and really poor cinematics which would have been Ok if the game didn't rely on it's stupid story line so much.

XMP is unplayable at the high pings that seem to plague all the public servers out there. When I was beta testing it I never got above 60ms, but now I can barely maintain a 150ms ping on most servers. This renders the Ranger's sniper rifle and pistol almost unusable.

I recommend that everyone hurry up an find a clan with an exclusive server quick.

XMP-it has great graphics-even better than the original Unreal 2, but big scenery with many polygons and crap won't bring your system down to it's knees.
The framerates are more impressive.

Can I please hear a decent review from someone who has facts and not a bunch of pissed off opinions because they hate Unreal 2? I don't want to install this thing if it sucks. I didn't hate Unreal 2... I thought it wasn't nearly as good as it could've been, though. The black-hole gun is fun for a little while when running through maps killing everything in sight with it... anyways, yeah... someone who's tried it please publish a REAL review, and not some piece of crap flame or fanboy love letter.

Unreal 2 XMP has this...
in order for you to use shit, you have to have power, hack into as many power sources as possible.
There are only 4 terminals.
You may drive vehicles.
Classes:
Ranger; Can heal people, sniper and has a pistol and Shock lance.
He is really weak & fast....
Next class:
gaylord...err...Tech
Can fix shit, he can repair sperm(shields)...
he has a shotgun, assault rifle, and medium armour...
Last class:
Gunner
basically the heavy weapons dude with a flame thrower, rocket launcher and gives ammo.

THe vehicals are LOADS of fun, much more entertaining the Halos buggy.

The gameplay rocks...MUCH fun. Bear in mind that finding good servers is hard, and that is why there are alot of complaints. ALOT of DSL servers that run poorly are out there!

My only complaint is no bots.
