Hi guys,
I read a couple of threads by people who are wondering when will the complete Valve Tools Addon for XSI will be available. Just a note to say that we are working very closely with Valve as we speak to release an updated set of tools for modding HL2. The addon will be release very shortly and I think you will like what we've included in there. ;)

Stay tuned...

I could tell you.... but then I'd have to gravity-gun your ass.

Yup.

If ever you have any questions regarding using XSI or how to use it for HL2 stuff, just send me a mail.

I'll help.

thank you lord,

cant wait, damn xsi exp to hell (we'll its not taht bad, i just like 4 more)

A lil' off-tangent but on-topic some--but the minimum requirements at the XSI site says that you need a resoultion of 1280 x 1024 (or something like that);

My laptop monitor resolution is 1440 x 900; will the interface still function properly?

you could probably make a custom interface (if u get the retail) but you can also get a lot of downloadable interfaces from xsibase.com .edharriss.com
its requried if ur gonna use default interface i suppose. I couldnt live with a lower res tbh but a lot of ppl r put off by 1280 x 1024 becaue 1280x960 is the right ratio.

Oy.... Since I left Softimage in september, any and all hl2 related stuff had been released....... when did this change?!

BTW, say hi to chinny and gaz fa me.

Might aswell ask in here rather than starting a new thread.

In the HL2 XSI EXP, is there an easer way to detach polygons from a polymesh than duplicating the whole mesh and deleting the un-needed ones?

I know 4.0 has a nice "Detach" when you right click, but I was wondering if there was an easy way I overlooked for the HL2.

Ta in advance.
