Well it seems Yahoo is trying to keep up to pace with Google's Gmail. But I still think gmail is far better.

You need to get invited, It used to be 1000 mb space but it has grown to 2015 mb.

Google just chose a selective group of people and gave them an gmail account and alot of invites.
So they invited people, and the people who got invited got invites to and so on and on and on and on...

They use invites so that spammers can't use it to send spam. Only people that are worthy of getting invites get it.

Problem with Yahoo is that they'll cram their email service full of flashing .gifs and ads making it slow and ugly.

Gmail is clean, crisp, and fast.

Same here, I was one of the first to have an gmail account and I now have about 5 of them by sending myself invites (to my hotmail account)
