destrukt whats wrong with 5gb? I want to meet someone with one of those 40gb mp3 players and ask them if they even listen to that meany sons (10k+ or whatever) while there out. I'd like a small 4-5gb mp3 player just so I can take 1000 odd songs out with me from my comp, even 1000 is abit much.

Any old mp3s, but you "have" to use iTunes to copy the mp3s over.

And I say "have" to, because you can always not use iTunes and do it manually through My Computer > removable drives.

But it's a lot of work for something so stupid.

Having an iPod makes me want a CD player. You don't have to worry about what quality it's encoded at or any of that rubbish and it's always a good feeling to have a little shiny disc to throw your love and affection on.

50 dollars for that is INSANE.

Plus rio carbon:

20hours battery life on single charge (A hell load more tha ipod miny)
25% more space the the ipod miny
Doesn't look cheasy.

P.S Ipods don't let you drag songs through explorer. rio carbon does.

The only reason to buy an iPod is for how it looks. In every other area, it's inferior - I mean, don't even get me started on being forced into iTunes and a limited pool of formats that Apple choose to let you use.
It's not the best known for being the best mp3 player.
